Facilitating Freight Traffic and Commodities Movement
These multi-tracking initiatives are strategically designed to facilitate the smooth transportation of a diverse array of essential commodities, such as food grains, fertilizers, coal, cement, fly ash, iron and finished steel, clinkers, crude oil, lime stone, and edible oil. With the proposed capacity augmentation efforts, there will be an impressive addition of approximately 200 GMT Per Annum to the freight traffic volume.
In this Son Nagar-Andal Multi tracking Project 1st time going to use the modified PSC sleepers and EN spring steel fastenings for easy to handle the rail during distressing and enhancing the fastenings life by 5 times. The same sleepers and fastenings are going to replace during renewals and new construction projects in phased manner.
"EN-based material" refers to a material that meets the standards and specifications outlined in European Norms (EN). These standards ensure the material's quality, safety, and performance for specific applications.
