Criteria for Rail Renewal - The following are to be considered in connection with the criteria of rail renewals -

When rails are due for renewals 20rp to be unloaded for through rail renewal, bridges are come across plan to unload on bridge also, otherwise long rail panels are to be shifted with rail dolleys. To avoid shifting unload directly on bridges with proper arrangements and precautions.
Unloading of 260 meter long rail panel on 76.2 meter long open web girder major bridge there are 2 ways depend upon site conditions.
1) Unloading on outside of the (track) running rail on the edge of channel sleepers
2) Unloading on inside of the (track) i.e. between running rails

रेल नवीनीकरण के लिए मानदंड - रेल नवीनीकरण के मानदंडों के संबंध में निम्नलिखित पर विचार किया जाना है -

योजना आधारित नवीनीकरण - चयनित मार्गों पर ट्रैक संरचना को जल्द से जल्द आधुनिक बनाने के उद्देश्य से पूर्व-निर्धारित योजना के अनुसार नवीनीकरण की योजना बनाई जा सकती है, भले ही इसमें समय से पहले नवीनीकरण शामिल हो।
जब रेल नवीकरण के लिए 20 आरपी को अनलोड किया जाना है, तो पुलों को पुल पर भी अनलोड करने की योजना आती है, अन्यथा लंबे रेल पैनलों को रेल डोलियों के साथ स्थानांतरित किया जाना होता है। उचित व्यवस्था और सावधानियों के साथ पुलों पर अनलोड को सीधे स्थानांतरित करने से बचें।
76.2 मीटर लंबे खुले वेब गर्डर प्रमुख पुल पर 260 मीटर लंबे रेल पैनल को उतारने के 2 तरीके हैं जो साइट की स्थितियों पर निर्भर करते हैं।
1) चैनल स्लीपरों के किनारे पर चलने वाली रेल (ट्रैक) के बाहर सामान उतारना
2) ट्रैक के अंदर यानी चलती रेल के बीच अनलोडिंग
