If you have the time and want a little more adventure in your island hoping this might fit the bill. Have you taken this flight? Let me know your experience.
I flew a Hawaiian Dash 7 into Kapalua Airport 30 years ago, very windy airport to fly into. Winds can blow up to 50knots, thanks for sharing video it brings back some memories
Took this very flight last year when changing venue from Oahu to West Maui. It was great -- Cost was good, security procedures were a breeze, views fantastic, and our from-airport commute in Maui was reduced significantly. But, some caveats are warranted. First, if you're traveling with luggage, and we were with a lot, that adds SIGNIFICANTLY to the cost. Second, no car rental agencies directly serve the Kapalua airport. There's an Avis/Budget nearby, but they don't have a shuttle to pick you up. So we took a short uber from the airport to the car rental place. ... Thanks for your fantastic video/review. I like your content and your style.
Thank you for your comments. Good points on the luggage as i only traveled with a small carryon, people should be aware of that. Can't wait to go back!
Flew from KOA to HNL many years ago on a 2 engine propeller airplane, as somewhat of a nervous flyer it was quite the adventure, I've flown in small planes a few times and I must say I'm not a big fan, but you can't beat the convenience with flying in to Kapalua, great video, looking forward to your review of the Montage
Thank you and yes Kaanapali is ok , the hotels there have first responders, those who lost homes, and other essentials for now. Will continue to monitor.

Great video! I will be flying with them in about a week. I'm so excited!
Have fun! Keep an eye on their schedule, lots of delays recently and I am not sure why.

@@suitesandlobbies I think I flew on Mid Pacific airlines, or mid pac for short. Back in the 80's
I think Kaanapali was spared from the ravaging Lahaina fire from a week ago. Nice video
