Happy Halloween 2024 First time watching "Halloween 2" #moviereaction #firsttimewatching
This is movie picks right up where we left off. Last seeing the shape get shot and disappear. From there he continues his rampage on Haddington. The body count is bigger and the kills are more brutal. The characters are good but you know most won't make it out alive. Such good tension and suspense is built throughout the movie. Had such a good time with this one.

This movie is 80s cheesy goodness. The villain and his henchmen are great and keep you guessing as to what is going on with them. The leads are fun and have solid chemistry. The deaths are gruesome and surprising.

This movie has some of the best eerie atmospheric scares I've seen in a movie. I was completely caught off guard buy the twists and turns of this movie. The characters are great, father and son with understandable motivations. Jane Doe is absolutely terrifying and utilized extremely well. The mystery will keep you questioning what is going on throughout the movie. This was such a good, thrillin...

This movie has some of the most memorable and gruesome kills I've seen in a slasher. The killer is eerily silent and seems to sneak effortless. The characters are undeserving of their brutal fate. The mystery also keeps you intrigued until the very end. This was such a pleasant surprise.

This movie is good old 80s cheese. The New York setting is used well. The underground and the sewers are dark and dripping. The deaths are mostly off scene but still work. The characters are my favorite part. They are enjoyable and have reasonable motivations. The monsters are gross gooey beings who will bombard their prey swiftly and violently. I had a good time with this one.
Killer Croc did not come to play First time watching "Primeval"2007#moviereaction #firstimewatching
มุมมอง 433หลายเดือนก่อน
This movie is a mixed bag. The Killer Croc is intimidating, terrifying, and has a taste for human flesh. The characters are ok but their motivations aren't the best. The deaths are gruesome and gory but mostly CG. The croc is also CG which does lessen its effect. The setting is a war torn Burundi in the midst of a brutal civil war, adding to the horrors. All in all not the best creature feature...

This movie is absolutely bonkers. This movie takes the franchise into a more fantastical director but is still very enjoyable. The character Stretch stumbles into the world of Leatherface and his clan. Leftie is actively revenge searching for them. The Sawyer Clan is absolutely despicable, Chop Top is the most repulsive character. This one is so much more bloody and revolting than the first.
First time watching "Maniac Cop"

This movie has a lot more than you'd expect. The characters make this movie one to remember. The mystery that is set up captures you and takes you off guard. Tom Atkins and Bruce Campbell are fun and really carry the movie. The kills are plentiful but not as bloody as I was expecting. Nevertheless an enjoyable 80s romp.

This movie is the perfect gateway horror for younger people. If I had saw this as a child it would be in my favorites. The characters are relatable and reasonable not the bratty annoying type. This movie starts off with a bang and then slowly ramps up the tension. The make up effects on the creatures are phenomenal. Lucio Fulci did not hold back. I saw this movie at the $1.50 movie theater twice when i was a kid. I hate that Caine died & i wanted him to make it out of the hood. The lesson of this movie is everything catches up with you in the end. Rewatching this as an adult i realized that Caine was doing too much & the movie did a great job of making him look like the protagonist. I don’t think Illena was pregnant, she pretended to be in order to trap Caine. Samuel L. Jackson’s acting credits goes all the way back to 1973. Jungle Fever was his breakout role & Pulp Fiction was his Magnum Opus. Clifton Powell was a good guy in Why Do Fools Fall In Love, Ray, The Gospel & Black Lightning. Here are some fun Facts: Eazy-E was supposed to play O-Dogg, Spice 1 was supposed to play Caine & MC Ren was supposed to play A-Wax. MC Eiht & Clifton Powell did voiceovers on GTA: San Andreas. Stacy played by Ryan Williams was also in Tales From The Hood & Dead Presidents.

I thought Part 2 despite being slightly different was a worthy sequel but the scene with the kid with a razer blade in his mouth had NOTHING to do with the plot and is hard to watch without feeling both sickened and sorry for the kid. Any actor I want to meet back in the day? Donald Pleasance of course. Both of us in the same suit and coat and flat caps. He was a brilliant British actor and one handsome Brit. I got the same suit set up he wore and wore it for Halloween. A pity I lacked the beard because he rocked a beard LONG before it became a fashion. I love how the lead nurse says "Men cant live with them cant live without them" Wiser words never spoken

It was my 1st ‘scary movie’ & it scared the crap out of both of us (he was a big chicken too). When I got home, it was around midnight. My mom had waited up to make sure I was home, but the second I said I was home, she turned her light off & went to bed. I then spent the rest of the night staring at my closet door, waiting for Michael Myers to come walking out, holding a huge knife! I was exhausted at school the next day🤣🎃

2 things about this Golden that gets me thinking a) in part 4 theres no mention of mass deaths since the doctor stopped it happening and even with the 3rd channel active the stone is toast and the chips wouldnt fire making him look insane screaming at the TV and b) Ronald NEVER said anything much about his guards so considering he sold things around the world isnt it logical for the right price, the right country(London) and the right person he would had sent one of his guards to them? Also not all were toast I think he had some in storage. And plans to upgrade them to modern REV-9 tech. These are older gen. I call these guys "My brothers"

The original script of this was written by a British writer Nigel Kneale who John Carpenter was a big fan of; he had previously done the sci-fi horror series Quatermass, a very good TV adaptation of 1984, the chilling ghost story The Stone Tape and more. He unfortunately didn't like the final product and got his name taken of the credits. John Carpenter would later direct a tribute to Kneale's work, Prince of Darkness, written by Carpenter under the alias Martin Quatermass, and put a major shout out in his 1994 film In the Mouth of Madness.

Here's the thing about this movie. This comes from the audio commentary on the Shout/Scream Factory Collector's Edition of Halloween 3 Season of the Witch. With Tommy Lee Wallace the director an one of the writers of the movie. He says that the movie was written as a stand alone movie from the start to. Have nothing to do with the Halloween movie franchise or Michael Myers. The original name on the script or screenplay was Season of the Witch. The movie studio got that script or screenplay then went over it an seen. It had nothing to do with Michael Myers or the other 2 Halloween movies. Then they approved it then last minute told John Carpenter that. The movie studio would not fund a movie called Season of the Witch. If they wanted them to fund the movie they would have to call it Halloween 3. No Halloween 3 in the name no funding an no movie whatsoever. So John Carpenter an Tommy Lee Wallace reluctantly agreed to call it Halloween 3. Because it was the only way to get the movie studio to fund the movie. But if it was up to them Tommy Lee Wallace an John Carpenter would have. Made an advertised it and release it as Season of the Witch. Basically the movie studio was the ones obsessed with Michael Myers. Along with the Halloween name an movie franchise.

  • @JW666
    @JW666 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

To be fair, they were trying to do something different with the franchise by turning it into a series of anthology movies that all took place on halloween. They tried with this one, but it failed & only confused people, so they went back with Michael Myers in the 4th movie. They even tried something similar with the Friday the 13th & Saw franchise, but it didn't work there either & went back to what people knew & love. I also think this movie would have done better back in the day If it didn't have the Halloween name on it & it was its own movie. This is actually an underrated gem in the 80's horror genre. They caught the girl, got rid of her & replaced her with an android clone. It was mostly an easter egg with the 1st Halloween movie & Nancy Keyes, the curly brunette from the 1st movie, now in this movie as the ex-wife.
