I'd recommend the 1954 Universal Monster classic Creature from the Black Lagoon for the summer. Creature from the Black Lagoon is a big one for summer because of the South American jungle and the tropical feel of being on a boat in the lagoon. Also because it's about an aquatic monster killing people. Kind of like when you did Jaws last year. It's perfect for the summer right now. It's also one of the best creature feature movies, one of the best Universal Monster movies, and a top contender for one of the best horror movies of the 1950's. I think it'd make for a really fun reaction 🙂

For a nice summer out in the sun on a boat horror film I recommend the 1986 film Uninvited, a cat killing people and looking like it escaped a Resident evil video game.

I'd suggest "Behind the Mask:Rise of Leslie Vernon"for a fun classic horror feel! That and"The Haunting of Hill House"(black and white film, NOT crappy series). After this movie, Helen managed to move to Sunnydale and was revealed to be a vampire slayer and the Max moved in with a bunch of other nerds and became Leonard Hoffstetter. Ironically, I watched "Scary Movie"before ever seeing this film and it permanently ruined the film for me. I couldn't watch it without laughing. Buffy:"Oh my god, we hit a BOOT!" Greg:"WHERES THE FOOT?!!!!" Cindy:"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!" Teacher:"What am I waiting for? What am I WAITING for?!!! FUCK YOOOOOUUUUUUUU!!!!"(Jumps to his death)
