Oh no. That last seconds hurt my feelings. R.I.P. goodest boy.
The goodest boy for sure!
1st. And you got a P
I’m glad we got to share the P with you
personally i went with P1S + A1 mini ( no AMSes) as my first printers, waiting for my package to arrive and i made so smart decision i guess, love how newbie friendly it is, despite i wanted some tinkering, it will give me overall knowledge without need to fixing it from start
I completely agree. These printers offer an excellent entry into the space. We actually just got ourselves a P1S a week or so ago. Go ahead and subscribe if you want to see Kory slap that one together as well. Unsurprisingly, it was together and printing quickly and without drama.
@@KeoPrintsi mean im hardware guy, but i have 0 experience and spending 10s of hours tinkering on some “cheaper” printers is .. fuu not fun, also with lack of support ( support from 3d printer brands is rly terrible despite elegoo i guess ) I will watch out for u folks 🙋♀️
The clumsy team
You got that right

"Promo SM"
so, question. Did you guys fiddle with ANY of the settings on this printer before printing that benchy or was it all just default out of the box settings and you just went full send with it?
We legitimately just sent it. No tweaks or tuning at all. Just Bambu presets and filament that had been sitting on a shelf for two years. It is honestly pretty incredible
@@KeoPrints oh hell yes! getting one if i ever get the spare cash
I didn’t get the AMS lite but it’s truly plug and play. Wish I would have gotten it first. This takes a meaty greasy 💩 on my Ender v3 se. And I like the SE. I’ve been printing pretty much non stop for 6 weeks. Of the very few failures I’ve had all but 2 were user error in some way. Way more failures on my SE. I still haven’t gotten the SE to print petg.
I actually just tried PETG on Kory’s Ender this past week preparing for an upcoming video. It turned out horribly. I used stock settings on the Bambu and it printed like a dream. It’s crazy what you can get for a few hundred bucks now compared to a few years ago.
magic of appliance from hobby
and now you know why people sell the older printers. but I do know friends who upgraded the old enders to do HueForges. as speed doesn't matter the QL of layers
I’ve been thinking about doing the hue forge stuff. Probably a good idea
Edity
This boy is feeling edity
all da videos reeeeeee-act
We’re just out here trying to entertain a little. I can always count on you though. One of the faithful 6 viewers.
Level level level. Auto-leveling
Yea some auto-level... still requires years of manual leveling.
Furst 45 seconds had me subscribing Need more TH-cam & 3d print videos like this
So happy to hear! Stay tuned for more
😯I have been spotted... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 🤣😆🤣😆
You’re one of the original 6. Congrats!
woodworking, ....... so many skills
Kory with the callback!
why was this incredibly stupid video at the top of my recommended? Owning a 3d printer destroys everything about trying to use youtube like a normal person.
I can’t answer that for you. I can surely try and 3D print a solution if you would like though
the Z rods go Lubbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb-e me
Kory has a way with words
hot hot hot.
Sometimes, I learn the hard way
Irrelevant?! i kept mine stock cause it just worked, but lately its been plagued by constant clogs and bed leveling every print. Upgraded bed to flex plate, helped a bit Upgraded to CR touch, helped a bit Replaced bed springs with hard mounting, this stopped bed moving every single print (im guessing the springs became too soft after X amount of heatcycles.) Replaced center of hotend with all metal insert, This worked great for a while, but now im just getting clogs/swelling/heat creep. So now i have a Sprite extruder on order. Suddenly my stock printer isnt very stock. I guess soon it will join the rest of my overly modified printers.
Sounds like the Ender way there. Let me know how that replacement extruder goes once you have it on there. We may look at replacing the stock setup for Kory. Thinking direct drive but not sure yet.
learning, adventure, laughing, crying = Content
That about sums it up
There ain't nothing wrong with a little bit of shenanigans
Uninstall, DDU, rip the eeprom off the board. There it is fixed
Necessary action
Shout-out to the MCM gaming mat !
You legend! Good Trainspotting!
" it's got so many eye balls" Chat be like " Hi Cory "
I am often distracted by the camera. What can ya do.
Good build
Not bad
Nice
Great video, Thank you for posting. I will never tell how many times I put my printers together wrong
Then we are in good company! Happy to hear it.
Thank you for re-uploading
Thanks for the heads up on the last one. We would have had a quiet video out for quite a while before we realized I think!
thank you for the upload. I hope you both have been well
Thanks!
Bambu is good but takes away the learning element for new users.. Yeah you open the box and press print has the bells and whistles yet the user is still clueless to how it actually functions
You are correct there. The new machines definitely leave no room for exploration in terms of troubleshooting, upgrading, learning about the machine. It is great for those that are simply interested in manufacturing their designs but there are definitely some valuable lessons in the tinkering. At least there are options that provide both paths instead of only forcing the user to become a 3D printer tech if they want to get involved.
Cool
Love ur shorts
Thanks for hanging out!
Pls know me when you get famous
Here's hoping that happens!
T nuts are so annoying
I’ve told many friends looking to get into printing that it is really 2 hobbies, printing things and fixing your printer so you can print things
Same here. Unless you’re getting into some of the newer machines like Bambu, it’s hard to just set it up and start printing right away
Yup…..but a very high end if you want this…
I had same kit. Looking pictures I opened the box at 14:42 and I was doing test print at 19:26. My first printer and I didn't have anyone to help.
The offer stands, come on down to Nebraska and show us how it’s done. Kory needs help!
@@KeoPrintsSo my 4h 42 minutes was fast? Edit: Ender 3v2 is ok if you want to tinker. I think I have used about same amount of money what that cost for upgrades. Basically I got that printer to make my own cases for my electronic projects and maybe testing some mechatronics/robotics.
I have and Ender 3 S1 and it was really simple to put together
Those are definitely a bit nicer than these V2 machines. Aren’t they direct drive too?
2024
A few tips to keep everything in focus: - Disable fake lens blur. Phones love their fake lens blur. - Narrow aperture. Beware of diffraction. f/8 and be there. - Wide-angle lens. Beware of distortion. Try and see. If possible, record with cine 4, or slog + color grading to avoid phone manufacturer shenanigans. For consistency, use manual mode, or pro mode, I guess. Auto mode ruins any kind of consistency with unnecessary microadjustments.
Reading the comments I can see who started with the easier generation of printers, not everything came "pre-built" and all Ender 3 V2 come this way, and I had a tough time with the T-nuts on the screen too. I will say that the first time is always the longest, if he builds another it will go much faster because he "knows" where things should go. Now the hard part on this machine is diagnosing failures and re tramming the bed a lot.
You have just made Kory a very happy boy!
I definitely remember when people said things like, "This is too difficult to learn, it will never catch on fully".. All about Computers.. (they were more difficult and bland back then) One day I think 3d printers will be as common as k-cup coffee machines within homes.. Arriving fully build and requiring almost no work/setup.. Heck, looking at this video... There's already been massive jumps when comparing things like the affordable Anycubic Kobra 2 pro/max or anything above that.. 🃏
You are absolutely correct. Even the Bambu/Anker style of machines that we have access to now shows how far the market has come.
I remember how intimidated I was when I built my first printer...(Anet A8). It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot from it. Now, I'm on printer 8... Neptune 4 Pro
It is pretty interesting how much the hobby has changed with the advent of more competition in this space. I personally enjoy the challenge of tinkering to solve an issue but I have to admit, these newer printers that have come around in the past couple of years are fantastic!
Could the assembly video be any more washed out?? I couldn’t even finish watching it.
Keeping it nice and clean!
You probably can't even finish your wife either.
Video is way to overexposed turn the light down please
Haha fair point. Maybe once we finish our TH-cam degrees, we can explore the world of color correction.
@@KeoPrints Unfortunately, not everything can be done in post. Cameras capture only a limited dynamic range. Everything outside of that range is unrecoverable. Gone. It was never recorded in the first place.
Today junior 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You should see how slow we move without the help of editing. Like lethargic snails I swear.
I put together my ender 3 in an hour without ever being in the same room with a 3d printer before. It's not that hard.
If you find yourself in Nebraska at any point, shoot us a message. I am sure Kory could use a hand on a few of the things we have coming up.
Can't confirm. Took 6 hours.
Thankfully the Ender 3 era has passed. Bambu has brought in the era of the 3D kitchen appliance, and more are following suit. This video looks like it's from 5-10 years ago.
You've got that right. I am far more happy to take a machine out of the box, snip some zip ties, and put it to work straight away! We are spoiled these days.
@@KeoPrints The reality of were the industry is now goes completely against your video title, disconnected from reality it feels
@@theguyonyoutube4826 I can see where you’re coming from. I guess we were more so poking fun at those people who like to maintain that opinion about the technology no matter what advances are made.
Ender 3 is still the cheapest option.
Bought an Ender 3 two months ago.
