"Wild Voices of Berryhead" is a documentary that delves into the dynamics of human-wildlife conflict at Berryhead, a historical nature reserve. This cherished location attracts visitors from near and far, yet many remain unaware of our presence's profound impact on its wildlife.
Through interviews with experts, we uncover the unique wildlife inhabiting Berryhead and explore the consequences of our actions on this environment. The film emphasises the importance of making informed decisions to protect and preserve the natural world we share with these creatures.
As stewards of the Earth, it is our responsibility to care for both the animals and the planet that sustains us. "Wild Voices of Berryhead" highlights the importance of fostering a deeper understanding and respect for nature, encouraging us all to make choices that benefit the environment and its inhabitants.

Animals die off in times of famine both in the wild and in rewilding spaces. Unpleasant as it may be it's part of the natural cycle. This isnt Disney, it's reality. Maybe if you hadn't started with a click bait headline and been more balanced in your approach, you'd have received different comments? Love wolves, but why? We are an Island! Until someone gets killed trying to defend their dog or flock! What next Bears? Why not bring back the Mammoth and Sabre toothed tiger too?! They have already reintroduced Bison, are they the prey for the wolves they have reintroduced? Farmers will end up shooting them all to protect their flocks and herds. Its cruel. Or is that why they want to shut down all the farms? Wolves kill people when they are hungry, that is why they were eliminated in the first place. No more countryside walks for anyone anymore, great way for the elites to keep people off their stolen inherited lands!

@Animal Educate You could probably learn a lot by looking at what other European countries do. Wolves are now in most countries in Europe, having recently immigrated even densely populated areas like Netherlands and Denmark. I have lived 5 years in the UK and I have found that you brits are quite selfcentered. It is a pity because you miss out of so much of what is happening in Europe, especially regarding rewilding and species migrating to new areas.

Be aware that what greys are being accused of is exactly what the reds were once accused of. The red were once hunted to near extinction. The UK Government, and regional UK Governments, propagandise and manipulate. "Culling" equals 'killing', which is never humane, nor "ethical". All squirrels are amazing. Reds and greys alike.

The entrenched hunting culture is going to be hard to overcome. I call it the trophy hunter tautology. They want to kill wolves because they want to kill wolves. If someone really understood -who- wolves actually are, no one would be clamoring to kill them. The 'wolf management' excuses are pretty weak too, especially if you know that wolves manage their own affairs through their territory and dispersal patterns. Wolves won't breed if the hunting isn't good, so seeing a thriving wolf population means your ungulates are doing quite well. I don't think 'wolf hunting' is valid, I just call it wolf killing, because that's all it was, especially in the U.S. Wolf killing was linked directly to extermination since the beginning, so allowing trophy hunters to run around killing wolves keeps the feedback loop of hate and intolerance going, and not only that, disrupts the wolves' territories, causes them anguish from losing family members, and its just abhorrent behavior on the part of humans. Its time to stop the wolf killing and open our collective hearts to the wolf and the wilderness. Allow mystery, make concessions to the 4% of wild mammals left on this planet,.
