The only thing I'd add is that arid lands that are traditionally grassland savannahs will turn to desert without grazers (& burrowers), not a closed canopy forest like in wet climates. Of course the hunters are still vital to keep all healthy & balanced. Great video overall!!
1:04 music to my ears! Even nature reserves are managed far too much. Once a blank canvas is cleared of non native species etc it really needs to be left to allow a natural balance. The most amazing diverse landscapes are those untouched by our destructive hands
I remember seeing a documentary about the devastation of fish populations around an island because efforts to reduce shark populations were so successful.
And also your “wild boar” your talking about is actually called a feral hog and they’re a huge problem in Florida and Texas. I’ve actually killed a feral hog before
