Abbie- Piece of advice: if you want to see and film crocs without going to Australia or the Nile, and if you want to scare the crap out of your viewers, I have only one thing to say: Biscayne Bay or the Florida Keys. Lesser known fact: Florida is the the northernmost home for the American Crocodile. In summer they can wander as far north as Tampa Bay (Tampa is only a 45 minute drive from Disney World heading west) and they go out to sea following the whole chain of the Florida Keys. They have been seen on Miami Beach "surfing" the waves from time to time, and you might see one hanging around a marina, hopeful for bait fish to fall into the water and thus get a free snack. It used to be, back in the 70s, there were less than 30 nests left. Today, there are hundreds and they are reclaiming their turf. Crocky has at last come HOOOME!! The good news: they are nowhere as ornery as a Nile croc. Nope. So long as you don't get in the water and make a racket, you are good to go. Stay in the boat, enjoy the scenery, and the rest is gravy. Be amazed as you DO NOT DIE because this species proves it is one of the laziest known to man. (Floridians have to poke it just to check that it is still breathing.) It and its alligator cousin are about as scary as a nosebleed most of the time. It is only those who do stupid things around them that get into trouble. In both cases, they were pretty much non-existant back in the 1940s and put on the endangered list in one case in the 1960s. Both are back. Millions of people live in Florida. All have their limbs. PS-Adjust that map you made. It is wrong. The American crocodile also lives in the Bahamas, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Haiti (mostly extirpated) and a few other Caribbean islands plus the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The Cuban croc is mainly located in Cuba only.
Good work.. 👌 But can add more information about theirs special scientific features to get some information for research use....? Just like every animal has special power as Cocodial has very large force in mouth, you can add their animated attack mechanism to understand special powers of each animals.
