USAIN BOLT Training System (Detailed Workouts, Training Secrets & info.) #usainbolt
A new and enhanced video version of Usain Bolt's training, uploaded a while ago on my channel, contains corrected information, improved videos and slides, and updated audio.
The Usain Bolt training video offers a captivating glimpse into the regimen that propelled the fastest man on earth to unparalleled heights in the world of sprinting. The video meticulously covers several key components of Bolt's training routine, providing insights into both the physical and philosophical aspects that underpin his success.
🏃Sprint Training:
At the core of Bolt's training is an intense focus on sprint drills designed to enhance his explosive speed and agility. The video showcases a variety of sprint exercises, including block starts, acceleration phases, and top-speed runs. These drills are tailored to refine Bolt's reaction time, stride length, and overall speed. Viewers can witness Bolt's powerful bursts of acceleration and the precision with which he executes each sprint, emphasizing the importance of technique and consistency.
✨Strength Training:
Complementing his sprint work, Bolt's training regimen includes rigorous strength training sessions. The video highlights exercises aimed at building the muscular strength necessary to sustain high-speed running and prevent injuries. Weightlifting routines, plyometric exercises, and core workouts are integral parts of Bolt's strength training. These exercises not only fortify his muscles but also enhance his endurance and stability, crucial for maintaining peak performance during races.
🏃Mechanics:
A significant portion of the video is dedicated to the mechanics of Bolt's running technique. Slow-motion footage and expert commentary dissect his stride, posture, and arm movement, offering a detailed analysis of what makes his running style so effective. The video underscores the importance of efficient biomechanics in maximizing speed and reducing energy expenditure. Bolt's impeccable form, characterized by optimal knee lift and foot placement, serves as a masterclass for aspiring sprinters.
✨Coach Training Philosophy:
Throughout the video, the presence of Bolt's coach, Glen Mills, is palpable. Mills' training philosophy, centered on discipline, incremental improvement, and tailored coaching, is brought to life through his interactions with Bolt. He emphasizes the significance of a personalized approach, recognizing Bolt's unique strengths and areas for development. Mills' focus on mental toughness, strategic planning, and continuous feedback underscores the holistic nature of Bolt's training program. His philosophy is not just about physical conditioning but also about nurturing the mindset of a champion.

I would like to see your all training program. Thank you very much!
1996 I won a bronze medal and 1997 a silver medal without a coach n no strength training
600m was my favourite
Youre forgetting to mention their sophisticated doping protocol. And how, faiking to apply for the Olympics, he didn't even get a medal
Fabulous insight into a legendary athlete. Sometimes I am surprised coaches share their training routines as some like to keep a lid on it. Every aspiring 400m hurdler / flat runner benefits from this though
Amazing Femke Bol she is a perfect physical specimen ! Gods creations !
“Marius was a foreign exchange student who ran for famed distance coach Joe Newton at York High School, Elmhurst, Illinois, US. In 1996 he won both the 1600 and 3200 races at the IL state track and field championships. His 1600m best at York (1996) was 4:09.2.” Nobody is mentioning the influence of Joe Newton in the comments.
Amazing...

What means 15min + 2SL in Competition period? 7:10
I think sl might be Stigningsløp which translates to strides
Yes, their training was quite similar and so too was their performance. Both also have similar genetics, but Kiptum was much younger...probably a bit quicker to recover and hence able to sustain higher mileage at similar intensity levels. I think though that this is reflected in the critical difference in their training: the fact that Kiptum was doing essentially two marathons per week and Eliud only one (their 40 km tempo runs). I would also say that in terms of training effect-benefit, these tempo runs are the most important for marathoners. The other training they do is just "filler" with the exception perhaps of the track sessions when they push themselves to faster than marathon pace, sessions tending to stimulate an increase in their max aerobic power.
I wonder if those plannings, are anecdotical, because there are the laps between each epoch, barely mentionned whereas the plannings are precisely presented, as example. nothin more. Didn't take in count recovery, or injuries stop between. Despite of that X factor, the sinthesis of the planification and of the session in themselves are clear. the fitness and reinforcment part shows an other aspect. Also the duration of the effect of altitude in the blood rest unknown, and the consequences over the time on the organism : is there an adaptation at long term or damage ? So I have noted the various plannings, each quite clear and complementary to each other. The spirit is that there are some intensities of running based on the pulse, so the heart impulses everything in the plan and in the various aspect of the training. And you just need strong legs to follow the different intensity and volume of the training. I have taken note, added a few seconds on paces, and removed a few miles, adjust some workout, to fit the spirit : Is Paula only knows the exactitude of all of this ? who shall tell ?
I am an African from a neighboring country to Ethiopia where Hassan was born. A birth date of January 1st in many parts of Africa means that the actual birth date is unknown and a birth date was assigned after an evaluation by a medical professional or a government official. This may certainly not be the case with Ms Hassan but there is a high probability that she is either older or younger than we know her to be. Either way we are very proud of her
What's the instrumental in the background?
How many days on the track does Usain do per week? Does it differ in each phase?
A great athlete with a unique style at that . Not only he was a winner of medals many times , The way he took most of them was jaw dropping. Basically he held back till he heard the bell , then he was gapping everyone, he wasn't just fast , he was as if his turbo opened and anyone was eating his dust . I haven't seen an athlete so charismatic as him ever since
Great ❤❤❤
Kiptum death it's a unbearable thing... I awake in that day and hard to believe what happens...no words to say how run world lost with his passed away!
Kiptum would have definitely broken 2 hours, but his super high mileage would have prevented him from having a career as long as Kipchoge's. Supposedly Kiptum ran as much as 185 miles per week.
The Best Super Jacob Good like in Brussels...
Pls tell me name song from ur video about kelvin kiptum and kipchoge training

It's amazing knowledge world top class athlete and coach 🙏🙏 I am fan
Great video overall. Slight correction at 0:56, Johnson is the only MAN to win 200M and 400M at the same Olympics. Valerie-Brisco Hooks did it in 1984 and Marie-José Pérec in 1996.
