For all the whining you do about tarmac QC I don’t think it’s come close to your mini gt issues where are the QC failures bruh 😂

I have 2 minichamps and 1 mini gt. The minichamps are better overall, the only point for mini gt are the wheels.

Nice review! I have the BMW M4 GT3 in two other liveries, including the launch so I'm not sure I'll pick up the Super GT version, but I'm seriously contemplating picking up that BMW GTD/LMDh. I'm waiting on bated breath for the Porsche 963 LMDh!

There is a spare tire in the back, love how Mini GT's attention to detail. It is hard to see becausw of the massive spoiler of the WRC cars. Same goes to Ford Puma Mini GT's

Yeah I bought the Caddy and sadly I had a booster diecast moment and my rear wing is pretty bent, gonna ask for a replacement tomorrow 😢. Car looks amazing though!

I'd like to see MiniGT, as well as other diecast companies, make two versions versions of their rally cars. One clean. One all dirty & muddy.

Love the rally cars! I've got the Lancia Stratos and Deltas. Need to get these. Like the tread details on the Puma. Can't wait for the Sterrato and Porsche Rallye coming up. Just recently got the #698 LBWK Kenmeri recall,Kaido House NSX in yellow and the San Remo Rally Stratos in the mail. The flag on the windshield banner is so tiny you have to use a magnifying glass to see it. Great review, can't wait for the next one. 👍

Nice comparison. I totally agree with you : "One casting necessarily is not better than the other. It´s just like a little details...". I prefer the crisp tone of the wheels on MIN GT and also the white color of the casting against the cream tone on the Minichamps. But also the splitted wing on Minichamps as well as the details in the wing supports are truly nice. And the end collectors can choose between many brands and it´s good in my opinion

Me too, love rally cars. MiniGT has started with the Lancia Delta Integrale, let's hope they move onto other iconic rally cars like the Celica GT-Four!!

The only times I have damaged 1/43 scale cars was taking them off the bases, two I did for reviews, quite angry with myself. However, those were cases when I surgically directed the cars and discovered how amazing the interiors were. I bought the Rexy Porsche at Sebring from my favorite dealers. They were the first to have it and only brought a dozen to the race and knew that they would sell out their allotment and were only taking online pre orders. The Rexy review has been on my channel for 4 months and has just gotten 1000 views. The most popular of all of my cars. Mine was the TSM IMSA Pro-Am, did you get the Spark?😊

Is the base plastic?

Spark 1/43 model boxes are track themed, ie. Daytona, US. I too started collecting 1/64, Tarmac Works. Then, now 300 1/43 Spark models, only Spark, TSM and Looksmart. You are correct about Andy Blackmore. Cool thing about the Spark model you have us that they only made 500 of them. Tarmac Works are 10,000 per model. Even the best 1/64 will never come close to a Spark 1/43 or even better 1/18. Oh, the livery by Andy Blackmore is called "POP ART". He came up with that in only 3 months including the wrap. As mentioned, I have almost 300 Spark 1/43 scale, only have (2) models with slight defects. Almost every late model Spark are perfect. The air jacks are "pneumatic". If you ever remove the body from the chassis, you will be amazed at the interior detail that would never otherwise see.

The blue on the Acura really surprised me too. It looks amazing in person

on the acura, the whole front part is a decal (the minolta logo) you can see the air under it, on the casting lines. it is difficult to see because it is the whole thing. it is unnecessary as well, which makes it worse. the gray parts that you mentioned are also decals

I like them both a lot, but I wholeheartedly agree that the Mini GT is significantly better value for money. Thanks so much for this comparison video!

Thats why i dont buy lots of minit gt. my last minigt was the black gtr r35. kaido house has good production but i stop getting it as its only colour changes and milking all the r33, r34s so its repetitive. I went to get detailed versions like miniDREAM, carlounge(resin), u2, cm model is great too, lcd model is fine, microturbo etc

Yeah man I've noticed all the QC failures with mini GT as well. saddly I've been noticing it with PopRace this year in particular. Ohh and yeah the very first BBR Maserati I got was missing a headlight 😢 feels like the more popular a company gets the more they don't care

Thank you for reviewing these bmws. I am a big fan of the bmw hypercar, but quality control for #709 bmw is absolutely disastrous😅It seems that minigt's factories have lost the abilities to drill the wheel axle into the centroids of the wheels. This made the car jump up and down when pushing it. Or worse the wheels would just get stuck in the wheel arches. This happened on 3 of 4 #709 cars I have opened. Another common issue is redundant glue came out of the headlight covers. Not to mention broken white paint and carbon……

Faulty details about the models: Trans-americas: The rear seat in the real car is single seat (for one person). In the model it is a full width backseat. Camel Trophy: The rear bumper should be black, not chrome /metal. The metal bumper is from the stock car. I camel trophy versions it is black. In addition, that chrome looks so irrelevant and ugly in the design…

I’ve always trusted Mini gt, I don’t think there’s a lot of brands that can match mini gt’s detail to price ratio. Most mini gt’s are only $15… that’s just a steal imo.
