Actually, both models look fantastic. The LCD model looks totally racing-like: the paint job is very nice, combining red and intricate color mixing on the glossy front end; the antenna on top, the carbon fiber panels under the door window and all the decorative elements. The purple color of the CM model steals my eye. I prefer CM because it looks less racing-like.
@@SiegedByCars I think both versions are amazing in their own rights. It's nice to have a more street oriented version (CM) and then the track version (LCD). I really hope that LCD will make the base version Senna at some point. Not many ultra detailed brands have done that one
The LCD looks better, but it's not a clear winner as you said, both brands made an awesome job. It's just a matter of how are you going to display your model, the LCD should be left on it's base, it looks more fragile than the CM, the latter is more suited to stay loose, even be played around. I'm waiting for CM to launch a racing inspired livery.
The LCD gets my pick. How does the MINI GT Senna stack up against them? For some reason the pictures I've seen of the MINI GT doesn't look that good. Great comparison. 👍
@michaelelmore5103 Yeah the mini gt Sennas aren't very good in my opinion. That is one of their very first castings and they all lack carbon fiber printing. I hope that they revisit that cast and do them properly some day. The McLaren Senna (even the base version) is littered with exposed carbon fiber which is why I would love CM or LCD to make it as well
Nice comparison and thank you for doing the rolling test. In collecting there is no wrong way to do it. For me the red lines are rolling and decals. I still haven't got a F1 car because of the decal use. I'm probably going to order the Alfa Romeo F1, as far as I can tell it doesn't have any decals. The orange line is the licensing, I accept some grey licensing if the brand is reputable. I would rather add a plastic car to my collection before I add a static model. There is no wrong way to collect, unless you keep your cars sealed in package, that's just silly.
@cornelstrutu1866 That is totally fair, and I absolutely agree with you about keeping models sealed 😅 I don't really care for F1 which is why I don't review them here on the channel. I've thought about getting them anyway to review, but it's kind of a waste of money for me since I don't want to collect them. But from what I've seen from Mini gt and the couple I did have, they are really solid despite some decals on them
@Booster_Diecast I hope they bring the huayra R , I love the car 😥😢 yeah I know LCD have that but you know me, No roll no buy 🤒 so maybe I'll get the Lamley Tarmac one, but I'm desperately waiting for the CM Model

The red Richard Millie looks more iconic in my opinion
But the purple one is more like a stock McLaren that sold really well to the public
@ShawnstertheMonster Yeah I would agree. I love the Mille GTR
Great review 👍, i'll go for cars with smooth rolling wheels
