I just bought the pop race CLK GTR a few days ago and I’m excited. I don’t really care about the value, all I can think about is how beautiful it will look sitting on my display
Gone through my pop race collection, Honda, Toyota and Aston Martin are licensed, the rest are questionable if they are licensed. Still gonna buy them, no one else has the quality and opening parts for the price
@MontyPython12 The Toyotas are iffy. Anyone can print that on to their packaging. Same with Honda. I'll talk about that more when I make a video about it. But yeah I totally understand if people want to continue collecting them. I have nothing bad to say about anyone who does
It sucks to hear about PopRace not having Mercedes license. When it comes to Inno, they have license for most brands other than Porsche and Ferrari. Porsche and Ferrari does not allow brands to make modified cars so those models only have Liberty Walk license. Same goes for Tarmac and RWB.
cool video and also good that you are stopping with Pop Race, since they are not licensed. Thats exactly the reason, why i never bought a single Pop Race, even it was tempting for the price / quality. But if they would pay for licensing, then they could not be in that price range anymore.
@MarcAkAwHiTe Yeah they'd probably be around the Inno64 price range if they had licensing, with all the opening parts and stuff. Just really sad because their products are nice
@@Booster_Diecast Yes, and not only for having the opportunity to buy the "exclusive model of the event" but also for having the experience of seeing an event of this hobby and meeting the exhibitors and being able to talk with them.
Thanks for the news, it's unfortunate that Pop Race is trying to cheat collectors with unlicensed or partially licensed products.... For me as a collector it doesn't have the same value. I have also stopped buying Pop Race for this reason.
So glad to see someone finally talking about poprace licensing issue. I've been so confused for a long time about it.
@charliek8310 Honestly I've been confused for a while too, but I recently took a deep dive and found out some things. Well talk about it more soon

@dharkann Yeah I think the Ferrari and Porsche thing is fine as long as it's licensed by the aftermarket company
@@Booster_Diecast I feel the same. Good to hear you don't support unlicensed models.
@dharkann Yeah, I know a lot of people don't really care but I can't and won't support them. It goes against my moral compass lol

@Ivan-up7ny lol right
So does that mean all the previous PopRace models were unlicensed?
yep
@@aryannk227 It's a weird situation, well dive into it deeper in a separate video soon
I wonder if there will ever be a diecast fair held on the European continent. I imagine a lot of people would go.
@@SiegedByCars It would be a great idea

@Armin-ry9rm Well, oh well😂 it was posted on their page after my last news vid so I figured I'd include it 😂
