Glad you did this review. The Stratos is one of my favorite cars. I guess mine is a error car since my car has the Alitalia on the drivers side painted over with white paint, but you can faintly see the start and end of the Alitalia lettering. As for the uneven length exhaust pipes,could be to reduce back pressure in the exhaust maybe. One thing wrong with MINI GT Stratos is the top half of the taillights should be orange for the turn signals. I think the wheels on the street version are Campagnolo wheels. Same manufacturer that supplied wheels for Ferraris. The Stratos dominated Rally back in the day,kinda like the Subaru WRX has in more recent times. Anyways, glad MINI GT makes these. Hopefully they'll sometime make the Stratos Zero concept car that came before the production model. You'll have to check that car out,pretty radical.
@michaelelmore5103 I'll definitely go check out the Zero concept! I really like the Stratos as well. I don't collect every single one, but I'm a sucker for the rally versions. Really hoping we can see the Lancia 037 from Mini GT at some point.
Great review! I picked up the Sanremo Winner myself. I love these old school rally cars from Mini GT, hoping that they continue, especially in the Group B category, I'd love to see rare and underappreciated cars such as the MG Metro 6R4 or Lancia Delta S4. The history of this Stratos is pretty cool too, this particular winner car was a 12-valve Stratos that almost didn't get the win, there was another 24-valve Stratos V6 which was leading the rally that lost a wheel and lost the rally to this one. There were other cars as well like Fiat 124 Abarths, Renault A110s and even a Porsche Carrera. (Please make these Mini GT...) It's really hard to research on old rallys and races and I'm happy Mini GT could replicate the Stratos accurately, as for the QC issues though... 😅
@chocoshot2472 That's great info! I'd love to see the MG Metro and the 124 Abarth! Rally is one of my favorite categories of motorsports (even though I'm not super knowledgeable about it🤣) so I'm also hoping for a lot more old school rally cars!
9:00 "campione del mondo" is indeed in italian. It just means "world champion". If it was in spanish it would probably be "campeon del mundo" I believe. Hey I'm still learning all this myself haha. Big Stratos fan right here!
@@spidersdiecast Okay right on thank you! I don't collect all the Stratos variants but I'm a sucker for the rally ones! Hoping to see the 037 at some point
These are some underrated castings. Btw you should check the new McLaren f1 GTR 24 hours lemans (gulf livery) this casting is super insane and detailed af. You definitely going to love it
Stratos ❤!

@ammucreation2001 Yeah will definitely be getting that one!
Lancia deserves these models in 1:64 scale. Though my favourite is the HF Delta Integrale
The Delta is awesome too! I love the box set that Mini GT did for those
Like the rally version.dont have any lancias in my collection yet.
@@Donald-n8o I recommend them! They're pretty cool
I do want to see a school bus by Mini GT or a garbage truck.
Are you going to review GT3 R(Rexy)?
@SergeantCrosss Yes very soon. It's en route to me right now
@Booster_Diecast sweet
Are those cars older models because they look like order rally cars
@@ShawnstertheMonster They are recent releases
