Aside from the tampo smudge, that is a beautiful car. It kinda reminds me of a Porsche 935 with a faux Apple computers livery. I also get some 76 Greenwood Corvette vibes too. I'll have to look for these. Great review!👍
The livery is accurate to the one at the Mini GT booth at the 2024 Essen Motorshow. The Inno64 is based on the original livery from the 2023 Essen Motorshow. Blackfish did the graphics on this car and several other LBWK cars like the Pilot F40. The livery is inspired by the 1977 Vaillant Kremer K2 Porsche 935 which has cartoon rabbits all over it. Since Tarmac has both the Kremer and Porsche licenses, maybe we'll see them make it.
@@Zsphire I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the car that eas feature at Essen 2024 😅 that's some good info about the 935, thank you! Would be really cool to see Tarmac make that Kremer Porsche!
@@Booster_Diecast Of course, these are limited production and it's a treasure. (Please try reaching out to Mini GT or Glen Chou... they may be able to replace it for you.)
Very cool 💀👍🏻. Mini GT also changed it with the black version since the original version was a Zero Sugar Coke sponsor and INNO64 had the licensing but with MINI GT, it just said Liberty Walk. Maybe MINI GT couldn’t get the licensing 🤷🏼♂️.
@@skeletonmandiecastcollector With that kind of stuff, it also depends on what Mazda is okay with. Inno64 only cares about what LBWK says. So mini gt is doing it the ethical way even if it makes the models less accurate
Quality control issues only on the Mini GT logo. Maybe it is a wake-up call for the brand to pay more attention to its brand image. Anyway a nice model a very beatiful blue color
@@Booster_Diecast 😎I like to use irony and double meanings when I speak or write. In this case, it occurred to me as soon as I saw it, so it was improvised.
@MontyPython12 I don't blame you. The resale prices for these event models is ridiculous. That's part of the reason I've been having a hard time recommending them
I'm starting to believe if there is one brand which is better than hotwheels and worse than any other premium brands out there (Inno64, PopRace, Liberty64, CM Model, Time Micro, LCD, etc all the other unlicensed Chinese brands) its....MiniGT, and its shamelessly going downhill.
@Ryknex I probably wouldn't agree with this. Mini GT is still solid. Every brand will have quality control issues. I've seen it from Pop Race, CM, Tarmac and many others. But yeah there has been a noticeable increase with Mini GT defects. But I don't think they're worse than any of those other brands. (And I don't pay attention to anything unlicensed so I won't speak on their behalf)
I have only had minor QC issues with Mini GT sometimes. In my last batch, 2 of 3 CM models had small QC issues like a misplaced mirror sticker and badge and I had a Global64 with glue all over the side of the plastic bumper. I have had a couple PopRace with QC issues like a bent overfender (dropped at the factory?) and wing bent back way too far. Only Inno64 and Tomica have had no issues for me. I have only one LCD and the model is perfect but the base has glue residue all over it.
I have the Inno64 version and I agree!
Cool car with nice colors
@@ShawnstertheMonster Yeah love the blue

Lovely car and great review.
Bad luck on that QC issue especially after paying $100+.

I want Mini GT to bring out the Rocket Bunny variant

It's nice, but the inno64 version is better. Was gonna buy one off the bay of e, but I refuse to pay over £100 for a MiniGT
