About @dealwithnarcissist: As son of a narcissistic father, I decided to create a website about how to deal with narcissists in order to offer a form of help to others. My aim is to provide information and insights for those that encounter narcissistic people (regularly). I do this based on my experience/research and this website thus doesn’t provide professional help. I’d like to emphasize that it’s important to seek professional help and support if required.

A child can be forgiven for they are children. This behavior from an adult shows that they never matured and stayed ignorant. Their lack of understanding of what a real relationship is shows only that they forever refuse to accept responsibility and accountability for their actions and behavior. People like this are best left alone t their own devices.

It is so difficult and painful but I need to let go of my fantasies of what our relationship could be. My Sister is the worst of the worst. She destroyed our family. I hate she's married to Steve Wariner the country music artist. He's such a nice guy, but co-dependent...that's why she got pregnant on purpose. She did the same for her first husband. It's was so much fun hanging out with the rich and famous. I could give a shit about her, but miss Steve. She's 69 and I'm 66. Hopefully she will die before I do, so I can hang out with my family again. She's a high school drop out and I graduated with honors from USC and played football on 4 championship teams and worked as an executive with MOTOROLA and had sales teams of over 20 sales professionals and she never had a job. She treats me like I'm a bum. I haven't spoken to her in 8 years. The final straw was she told me I can't go backstage at the Opry on a Saturday when Steve hosted the Opry and it was my 58th birthday. (I paid Steve $56,000 to perform a 2 hour show 25 years ago for MOTOROLA at the Opreyland Hotel. Steve was hosting the Grand Ole Opry that night and just had to walk across the parking lot after hosting the Opry. He was filling in for his close friend Garth Brooks. $56k is over $100k today. Caryn actually over charged for Steve, instead of getting a deal since he was my brother in law, plus...no travel was involved) She said she'd ask the Opry manager, but it was too late because it was Thursday morning and the Ryman does background checks and Wednesday is the cutoff. No problem...I called the Opry manager and told her I was Steve's brother in law and I'd like a backstage pass Saturday for myself and my 86 year Mom. She said, "Oh! You're Caryn's brother". Just have her give me a call and I'll leave two back stage passes for you. I asked about the background checks. She laughed, "We don't do background checks!" I called Caryn, "Good news, I called the Opry manager and she said just give her a call!" OMG!!! SHE RAGED!!! USED EVERY CURSE WORD and said how could you do that to Steve and I??? Steve is going to get fired!!! (27 years in the Grand Ole Opry...😂) We are going to get in trouble! How could you??? I caught her in a lie and I never talked to her again! She has two grandchildren from her scapegoated son in NYC (I have 3 nephews and a niece, and they won't speak to me, because who knows what she told them about me?) ...he doesn't let my Sister talk to his children anymore. She can't even FaceTime them. 😂 When they were 13 and 12, they saw a family photo with me in it and asked, "who is that Man in the photo?" That's your Grandmother's brother. Grandmother has a brother?????? I have a million more where that came from...I guess I'll write a tell all book!

My sibling needs admiration. And she needs me to play 2nd fiddle in any situation where we are together. My sister is a feminist counselor and I thought she could understand me. But I was dreaming. How could I have thought that as she and my other sibling would bully me when I was young? But my parents always said we must love each other. Well I was the only one believe it. The take home here is that narcissists don’t reform. And covert narcissists are nice to everyone except a chosen few they have targeted for supply.
