Are the like of Romelle Donovan and Junior Dixon fulfilling their potential at Burton Albion and Boreham Wood respectively, or our loan players keeping the bench warm? We discuss each of our loan players and give our opinion on their loan spells so far.

Thank you for your comment Paul which is really appreciated. Up the Blues! KRO!
Sadly, I think Tyler Roberts and Longello don't have a future at Blues. I agree that Longello would be better at left wing than left back. But I'd rather gamble on Yokohama as a young left winger. Hall and Donavon would both be better off in our under 21s, I understand the idea of giving them real game time at a decent level. But if they're not getting the game time, bring them home to the U21s. Keep up the great work lads, I really look forward to your next podcast and I always seem to share most of your opinions. KRO
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. We are really pleased you enjoy our podcasts. KRO!
tyler robert’s has being doing well at northampton, i reckon he could have a future with us
@ thank you for the update Emily which is greatly appreciated. That is good to hear. KRO!
best: Wembley beating Tranmere 3-2. worst Fulham semi final 1975... nuff said!! KRO
Thanks for commenting mate, greatly appreciated. KRO! :)
We currently have 11 players on loan including under 21s, the bar has been raised and i think 99% of these players will not hit the first team.KRO/FEA
Out of all the players out on loan which one/s do you think have a genuine chance of making the first team? KRO 💙
Thanks Alan, I always thought Hall and Dixon would come back and stand a chance but as you say the bar is now very high! Interesting to see how CD see's them all fitting in or what plans he has, KRO! :)
I know strikers are judged on goals scored and rightly so. Tyler Roberts as not scored for us but his general play as been outstanding for us..Spends alot of time dropping deeper or drifting wide linking up play which he his great at in my opinion. Hard to score goals with limited service and to be fair with the lack of creative players we have not a surprise. Also with our incredible injury list never as regular strike partner even though Fosu and Roberts together will cause problems for lot of defences. Also i dont think I would class him as an out and out centre forward but still looks cut above league 1.Going slightly off topic we have 14 players missing through injury so would be a good time If he can pop in his first away at Blackpool tomorrow. Thanks Stu
Thanks Stuart, really appreciate the comment. KRO! :)
George Hall is being carefully managed after returning from what we all know has been an injury restricting career. He was interviewed on WM recently, in which he talked about his relationship with Matt Sadler and how his game time is being carefully planned and managed. He spoke about playing without the worry of getting injured. He's been able to sprint again and it's just good to get important minutes as he gets back up and running as there's always the risk of a recurrence of the injury or picking up another injury if rushed back too soon. As we all know, George Hall has hardly played any football in recent seasons due to injuries. I think it's important to take that into consideration when talking about his loan spell so far. It was good to listen to how he was feeling now with getting back up to speed and building up his minutes on the pitch and contributing to the teams success. He also talked about the importance of having good people around him, which is something he's always had. KRO 💙
Very interesting and that totally makes sense. Thank you Richard, greatly appreciated. KRO! :)
@BCFCRoyalBlue Let's hope that Hall can stay fit and injury free so that he can continue to build up his minutes during his loan spell. I really hope we see Hall fulfilling his potential in a Blues shirt as there's definitely a proper player there that has had his career for the most part stolen by injury. I think stats only form a part of the picture/story and I think the assist one in particular as that's reliant upon someone doing their job to make it an assist from a chance created. KRO 💙
@BCFCRoyalBlue On a side note. I presume you both watched the Open House, and presumably , you will be sharing your respective thoughts and opinions on what you heard? I have to admit, that whilst I'm still not a fan of Garry Cook, it's easy to see why he's in the position he's in as he's a very good public speaker. I was very impressed by how he came across. KRO 💙
@@richardpincher8936 yes we watched the open house and we will be recording our thoughts on Sunday evening to go out on Monday. KRO!
@BCFCRoyalBlue KRO 💙
Boreham wood are national league south (6th tier) club Gary!👍
Thanks for commenting and for the clarification, greatly appreciated. KRO! :)
It's clear that Birmingham City have been dominating possession in recent games but haven't been clinical enough in front of goal. While it's important to respect every opponent, the squad has the quality to challenge for promotion. The upcoming fixtures against Shrewsbury Town, Exeter City, Blackpool, Stockport County, and Barnsley present a crucial opportunity to gain ground. A strong performance in these games could significantly boost their promotion hopes. It's encouraging to see the potential in the younger players. Giving them opportunities to showcase their talent can be beneficial for the team's long-term success. I'll be tuning into your podcast to hear more about the team's prospects and strategies for the upcoming matches. KRO wonderful podcast
Thanks Michael, greatly appreciated. KRO! :)
I think we win 4/5 games, I’d happily take a loss in the FA Cup match if we win the 4 league games. Promotion is the priority. KRO
Thank you for your comment which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
We've played the same style every game with easily a championship squad. Need to see some versatility and less mistakes and it's ours. KRO SOTV
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
Absolutely agree about the nations league, it's a Mickey mouse tournament,
Thank you very much for your comment David which is greatly appreciated. I don’t mind the World Cup and Euro’s but I’ve no interest in the Nations League. KRO!
When the fixtures are tight, play a semi B team against the absolute lowest teams in the League and rest most of the best players or put them on the bench. And if you're not up by halftime, supersub the good players on
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. We definitely have a depth of squad to do that. KRO!
Maybe Davies could look to Lee Carsley. Excellent manoeuvre to leave out Kane and outflank Greece. Seems to remember it working well for us when Stansfield was out.
Thank you very much for your comment Mark which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
There are too many internationals in my opinion, I am a rugby fan & I think it is similar there - internationals in both sports used to be a big occasion & something to get really excited about, now they are like busses - if you miss one don't fuss there will be another one along soon
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I agree there are far too many international games and it disrupts the domestic programme. KRO!
Shame about Miyoshi, really like him. Would be great if you could do something similar on a semi regular basis about our loan player. Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
I still believe we should have kept dembele. He is more creative than Hanson and has goals in him. Very talented player. Think he would have tore league one up. I understand he is not strong defensively but we have 70% of the ball and we struggle to open teams up. He’d of added goals and assists which we need as we are not seeing teams off.
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. Totally agree with what you say with Dembele going forward but he nullifies this with lack of tracking back and costing goals. I think Oxford are finding that out for themselves at the moment. KRO!
Just a thought - are we best off playing away from home atm ? As home teams they are more likely to have some semblance of attacking ambition, leave some space for us to exploit ?
That’s a very good point mate. Home teams are more inclined to attack which will leave them a bit more vulnerable, KRO! :)
Question…. Is Stanno going to celebrate scoring goals at Exeter 👀 and how do we feel as blues fans if he doesn’t celebrate 🧐
I’m pretty certain he won’t celebrate if he scores as it’s the club where his dad is a legend. They even have one of the stands named after him. I can’t speak for everyone but I won’t mind if he doesn’t celebrate and keeps it respectful. It would be in memory of his dad 😊 KRO! :)
@@BCFCRoyalBlue yeah I mean I could never score against the blues ever, think I’d refuse to play. I think this where a few have said already CD should give Jukey a game. Yeah he is a respectful lad. KRO!
Need to be at 100% Exeter will be a tough game as well as barnsley.
Thanks for the comment which is greatly appreciated, KRO! :)
I think against Northampton we got complacent I didn’t agree with the subs I’d have kept Ben Davies in the squad don’t mean no disrespect to Dion but he cost us top and bottom of it decision making was terrible however not all dions fault we need to put the ball in the net
Thank you very much for your comment Matthew. which is greatly appreciated. Ben Davies was ill which is why he was not in the squad for Northampton. KRO!
@@BCFCRoyalBlue makes sense then we don’t look as confident at the back when Dion is in the team don’t know if it’s just the partnership with klarer maybe the chemistry just isn’t there between the two of them but for me we win 1-0 if Dion heads it away instead of dropping back to let it drop onto him
Barnsley fan here . Looking forward to game at our place . No doubt you'll sell the 5000 and will be a great atmosphere .. hopefully between the top two ..
Thank you very much for your comment Marc which is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to coming to Barnsley in what will be a tough game for both teams. As you point out it should be a fantastic atmosphere as we sell out all of our away allocations. KRO!
@BCFCRoyalBlue you've always brought a good crowd to oakwell.. saw your result Saturday and looks like northampton did what they do best . All the time same thing against us .. that's why our home form is poor as you seen for yourself teams park the bus at home . Northampton are masters at it.. on our form we were awful up until 4 games ago worst I've ever seen us play but we turned it round.. so hopefully should be a good game .. should be a championship game tbh you'll be higher than that in next 3 seasons though ..
Hi guys I think Saturdays result could be a learning curve disappointing as it was I think Chris Davies will have them fired up and I really feel we will go on another winning run.As you said Alec ,this nations league is a waste of time no interest whatsoever.Shrewsbury could be difficult with the new manager but surely we have to much quality and hopefully the start of a winning run.
Thank you very much for your comment Terry which is greatly appreciated. If we are serious about promotion then we have to beat Shrewsbury. Regardless of their new manager we have much more quality and should expect to win this one. KRO!
Hi both. Great show, enjoyed it. Bad mistake to cancel the game this weekend. In reality it was cancelled for only Willumson. Fixture pile up will bite us. Play Leonard somewhere, he's quality. They would have been well up for a game this weekend. Thank you.
Thank you very much for your comment Mikey which is greatly appreciated. I dont like these international breaks and as you point out we have a strong enough squad to have played the game. KRO!
Yeah agree! So sad that there is no Saturday football! No doubt it will be replayed in a Tuesday night 😢
We need a return of at least 10 points from these next 4 league games to keep pushing for that top spot. Great analysis as always gents! KRO
Thank you very much for your comment Richard which is greatly appreciated. Yes, 10 points minimum from the next four league games would keep the momentum going. KRO!
Another great podcast. Will not say again on future comments as you know I like them. Key to the games coming is goals. May number 9 please with Stanno out wide and Thor number 10 and I feel goals will flow. Please cd give it a try
Thank you very much for your comment Tony which is greatly appreciated. Completely agree! KRO!
We can’t afford to lose any of these games, in fact we have to win all five! That would then put us back on top and into the next round of the cup!! Whatever it takes!! KRO 💪🏼FEA 💪🏼😊
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. Four league wins is exactly what we need. We’ve had our poor run of form, now let’s kick on! KRO!
Great podcast again. Stockport...remember Kevin Francis KRO
Thank you for your comment Graham which is greatly appreciated. Yes, he was a really big Bluenose and had a real heart for the Blues. Barry Fry brought him from Stockport. KRO!
I'm at the game had to go hospitality to get in 😢
Thank you very much for your comment Tony which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
Hi both , Shrewsbury will park the bus , ainsworth will want a point , however they lack consistency and switch off so that's a 3-0 win , I think we will be chomping at the bit .KRO
Thank you very much for your comment Tony which is greatly appreciated. I think you are right, the boys will want to make up for the recent dropped points and will be well up for it. KRO!
If he is fit I would give Jukey 45 minutes at Shrewsbury and Exeter with Stanno on the bench.
Thank you very much for your comment Frank which is greatly appreciated. As you say the key think is if he can stay fit. If so I can see him being used through the season as he is an excellent target man. KRO!
Sometimes throwing Juke on and playing off him may be a bit better than passing it thirty times and not having a shot on target, maybe give the big man 30mins if passing teams to death isn't working for us
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I know what you are saying. There may be times when a more direct approach is needed. KRO!
Gareth ainsworth is a good appointment for Shrewsbury they may get the new manager bounce ! Still hurting after the Northampton debacle 😢 Good video lads KRO FEA 💙UTFB
Thank you very much for your comment Graham which is greatly appreciated. We seemed to play a lot of teams last season just after a new manager has been appointed. Either was we have to beat teams like Shrewsbury if we want to get promoted. KRO!

At the start of the season every shot that left mays foot went in even in pre season, now he looks lost and I feel.hes lost a bit of confidence, but when you've paid 15 mill for a player I bet he's gota play jay every game but I agree willumsun no 10 and may 9,he's not the leagues top scorer 2 seasons in a row for nothing,he needs to try sumat else coz we have to finish these games off and in style lol kro
Thank you for your comment which is greatly appreciated. Alfie is not as effective if you play him in any other position than the No.9. Hopefully CD can find a way of accommodating that. KRO!
Too much Possession football , need to get at em , with aggregation, pace , energy, pass, pass, pass, pass Is becoming a bit boring now .

3 players id take back Bacuna Miyoshi Dembele i probably spelt that all kinds of wrong
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. Personally I wouldn’t take any of the three back. KRO!
Interesting info on the players guys, would you swap any for our current team? Great show as always KRO
Thank you very much for your comment Steven which is greatly appreciated. No, I would not swap any of our new players for those that have left. KRO!
I am sure i read somewhere he had picked up a knock (GG) so hopefully isnt far off. KRO
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. That is highly likely as he always seems to be injured! KRO!
I liked a lot of the players that have gone but agree with your ending comments, the truth is none of them would strengthen us at all now. The only players from the last few years I would be interested in maybe some of the Loans like Trusty. KRO
Thank you very much for your comment Joseph which is greatly appreciated. I liked Trusty as well. KRO!
Too many of the players from last season had erratic form. As you say - Bacuna on his day was unplayable. Unfortunately for Blues, those games were punctuated between several awful performances. Glad to see him moved on - along with Dembele, Burke, Roberts, Aiwu, etc. Gheyre the main reason we got relegated. Much better and reliable players now
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
You are also a whole division below last season. Your current squad would finish bottom of the table on a record low points tally.
Interesting to hear how the players who left in the summer are getting on. I don't wish any of them any ill feeling, all I'll say is we had an incredible transfer window and I'm very happy with the squad we have now. Gary, are you applying for the MOTD job now that Lineker is off? :) KRO
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I was going to apply for the MOTD job but I don’t think they can afford me! KRO!
I think we could do with Miyoshi in a no10 role. He was creative and scored goals. We could also do with Dembele potentially on the left. Scored and created
Thank you very much for your comment Stevey which is greatly appreciated. I like Myoshi as well however I think he got knocked off the ball too easily. As for Dembele he was great going forward but did not track back and work for the team. He cost us as many goals as he scored. KRO!
Hi both bacuna cost us far more points than he won us , I found him lazy , dembela always on his backside again lazy, as for the rest ,got little time for ,all on wages we can only dream about , they got us relegated, and I'm keeping it clean 😂
Thank you very much for your comment Tony which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
Baccuna annoyed me, looked like he was only 50% charged. He always over played things but good luck to all the players.
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I think you have summed up nicely how many Blues fans felt about Juninho Bacuna! KRO!
1st
1st indeed. Do you have a comment? KRO!
Be nice to see some plans for the future ideas of the Sports Quarter, it will be amazing 👍
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. It really will be amazing when it is all completed. KRO!
