Just on what fans are saying about spending money on the ground they will make all the money back on selling the land to a housing company up the blues
My best is when we went to Newcastle in the second leg and they kept repeating what Alan shearer said when we stuck five past them at Newcastle was funny 😂😂😂
I attended both of the 1975 FA Cup semi final games against Fulham and was absolutely gutted when we lost in the last minute of extra time at Maine Road in the replay. I took my father to the 2001 Worthington Cup final vs Liverpool and we were both so proud of our performance that day. It showed what blues are all about - big hearts and loads of passion and pride.
Thank you very much for your comment Nigel which is greatly appreciated. The FA Cup Semi-Final defeat was a real wounder and will live long in the memories of all of us who were around at the time. Thank you for answering my question. I think there's been so much outside about Blues that a behind the scenes series would help to put the wrongs right but also provide a fascinating insight for us Bluenoses. I think it's fair to say that Tom Wagner and Knighthead are here to stay and grow the club. The bread and butter of our club are the current fans. The ones, that have stayed steadfast throughout and those returning to the club after being so down trodden and disillusioned (understandably so) given how the club was being run by the previous owners. Success on the pitch is what will see local young fans supporting Blues and not your Man City's of the world, for example. I think the Wrexham game gave an interesting insight into the world of interest from around the world mainly in the US of course because of the respective owners involved in both clubs. I've really enjoyed the Wrexham series, and I really enjoyed the Sunderland one, too. I think a fly on the wall behind the scenes series is another way of generating significant revenue and if that helps to keep ticket prices at an affordable level for all, I'm all for it and as long as the club stays true to its roots, which is so important as part of the DNA and culture of our club. Of course, it goes without saying, but I will say it anyway 🤣🤣 that a certain Father and Son duo should feature if such a series is made 😁😁. I think out of all the clubs in England right now, Blues would make for the most interesting and exciting series should one be made. KRO 💙

@BCFCRoyalBlue it's crazy (in a good way) to think what's happening at our club. I think the positives far outweigh the negatives. Also, you're right in saying that it's going to happen. I think it's an exciting opportunity and it's going to happen regardless of what some fans think, so I say, to all those against it, the owners have got a really good grip of things after a rocky start of what Blues are all about and taking the fans with the club and not leaving them behind on the journey. As long as Blues stay true to its roots, I really don't have a problem with Blues doing all that they can to increase awareness and revenue that helps Blues to achieve success. We're benefiting from the Americans' money and influence. It's unrealistic and unfair to not see that Tom Wagner and Knighthead want it all!! The two go hand in hand. Successful on and off the pitch is most definitely a winning combination. This is Blues time to shine and get out of the shadow and all publicity is good publicity (well in this case it would be). Sourcing a top keeper is probably as difficult as sourcing a top CF. They are rare and other teams very reluctant to let them go. If we can't get a club to part with one we want, we can perhaps going down the loan route and hopefully get someone of the calibre of Sarkic or even someone as good as Hart with the possibility of signing them permanently further down the line.
Thank you very much for your comment Vincent which is greatly appreciated. Getting top quality players will always be difficult because they are likely to be in high demand and expensive. However, the club have shown this summer that they have the finances and pulling power to attract players that could easily be playing in higher leagues. You make a great reference to Sarkic who was fantastic for Blues. A big loss to the game and may he rest in peace. KRO!
My worst game was the Fulham FA Cup Semi-final, with the fluke goal where the ball hit Dave Latchford's chest rebounds to their striker and goes in the goal... I was only a kid but I was devastated. My best game... Southampton at home, 3-2 Blues win, Dugarry being a footballing genius KRO 💙
Thank you very much for your comment Carol which is greatly appreciated. The FA Cup semi-final is my worst memory as well. Your best game is a good one as well. What a great player Dugarry was for us! KRO!

Thanks for answering my question guys, some great memories there! Besides the cup and playoff finals, I'd say the 2 nil win at villa in 2003. Incredible atmosphere and never seen us win there before and it gave us the double over them that season. Also the Brentford game after we won the Auto Windscreen final. The best atmosphere I've ever known at a game and a great win against our promotion rivals. Was a fantastic night. Most disappointing for me was the play off semi against Watford. I was convinced we'd win the second leg and go on to win promotion. Was absolutely gutted leaving St.Andrews that night. The infamous 6-4 game against Swindon too. I was 16/17 at the time and when we were 4-1 up I looked at the division table in the match day programme and thought to myself, we'll jump a few places today. Half an hour later I was stood at the back of the old kop wondering what had just happened! Looking forward to your Bolton pod. KRO

Great question Kevin, the way I see it is that Knighthead know they've got to speculate to accumulate. That's why they're investing in St Andrews, making the whole match day feel so special, which will encourage fans to invest in our future at the new sports quarter KRO 💙
Thank you very much for your comment Bob which is greatly appreciated. The Swindon game seems to be a particularly bad memory and we've already had a few comments about that one! KRO!
The 5-1 loss at vile park my first ever blues villa match best ever has to be when we won promotion against reading was with my big brother who is no longer here another bad memory comes to mind remember losing 5-0 at home to Barnsley under Lee Clark
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. There are certainly quite a few bad memories to choose from over the years! Hopefully we can start to create more good memories than bad from this point onwards! KRO!
Top 3 highs for me is 1. Blues 3-0 Villa (first season in the prem) 2. Carling cup final 3. Leyland Daf cup final in 91 (my first visit to Wembley as a 11 year old bluenose) My 3 lows are 1. Worthington cup final defeat in 2001 2. Villa 5-1 blues around 2007 I think & I was there which made it worse! 3. The heartbreaking play off semi final defeat on penalties away at Preston in 2001 (the journey home was horrible that night)
I remember the Fulham game I also remember queuing up for a ticket with my uncles, up at the crack of dawn to stand around for hours, then we lost in the last seconds I couldn't believe it, happiest was the Carling cup getting soaked in beer watching it on the big screen with a load of bluenose nutters lol, great pod guys, and nice to see that pic of you with the owner, fantastic.
Thank you for your comment Steven which is greatly appreciated. I remember the days of queuing up for tickets. For the Worthington Cup final I was at a dark wet St.Andrew’s at 3.30am and there were probably 2000 in front of me! It was worth it though! KRO!

Thank you very much for your comment Paul which is greatly appreciated. We really have got a decent squad now so there is no panic to buy in January so it will be interesting to see if we add anyone. KRO!
Wrexham have fake! ''support'' Whereas we already have a massive real fanbase we don't need fake support. I agree a documentary type monologue that encourages Investment would be verry good but not something that is based on attracting overseas fake support. A true fanbase is a loyal fanbase, we should be aiming to attract new fans from the local and surrounding areas being a good team with a top-quality Stadum will go a long way to doing that we have already started to get back the fans that had lost interest from past failures and neglect they're come back because they can see the Improvement's through investment. So that shows attracting more investment will engorge Stroger support. Kids that have not yet pledged the elegance to any pedicular team are more likely going to pick the team that gives them the best matchday experience. This IMO is how the club are planning the future and its already started all be it in league 1. KRO
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I agree with your comment to attract more local fans which is something I'm sure the club will also be targeting. I also think that the owners will exploit other possibilities to widen the reach and to achieve a global fan base. I'm not sure that Wrexham have 'fake' support but even if that was the case I'm sure that the owners would accept 'fake' fans spending 'real' money on merchandise and attending games when they can. Our owner are all about increasing revenue and ultimately make a healthy profit. I suppose this is the reality for us as fans of wanting to have a successful football team. KRO!
Left back cover already there with Buchanan - my priority areas to strengthen are the wings tbh - we have great players at this level but the current options will be found out at Championship and above. On the same basis we also need to consider extra support for Jay
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I like Buchanan but he does seem to be injury prone and he is struggling to get back from his latest one. It will be interesting to see if there is any strengthening in the January transfer window. KRO!
Most dissapointng loss 1975 Fulham FAcup semi final replay at Maine Road, last kick of extra time, the ball went in off the Fulham centre forwards chin and rolled inside the post,--devastating for the 20,000 Blues fans who made the trip,-to Fulhams 3,000,-l felt for my Dad as he just wanted to see Blues at Wembley,as he couldn,t get a ticket in1956,and died the year before we went to the Leyland Daf in 91,--The best, when we beat Villa in 1963 to win the league cup,KRO
Thank you very much for your comment Brian which is greatly appreciated. The Semi-Final loss in 1975 was really devastating as we were so close to getting to Wembley and the goal being scored with the last kick made it even worse. I'm sure however, we will get to Wembley at some point over the coming years and that will be something to savour for Blues fans. KRO!

@@BCFCRoyalBlue Good, hope he can get to fitness, he's a cracking little player, a fully fit Buchanan pushes Cochrane for that left back spot, which is only good news for us. KRO, love this channel, keep up the good work fellas.
@davideco7910 I really like and rate Buchanan, so I hope he can get back fit and stay fit. If the left back area is one that we need to strengthen, then I would like to see us go for Mickel Miller from Huddersfield, who I think is a really solid defensive player and good going forward too. He played really well against us just recently. He's 28, so in his prime, it would be a really good signing in my opinion if we need to go into the market in January. KRO 💙
Isn't investment in stuff like the stadium exempt from FFP? Might be worth building a stand to increase revenue, even if it is a net loss, so they can spend more money on players without violating FFP.
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I think you may be right. Our owners are all about increasing revenue so I suspect that they have done thier sums in relation to works to the main stand. KRO!

KRO!
good victory last night 2-0 to blues lets have it kro
Thank you for your comment David which is greatly appreciated. Another three points against a fancied team. KRO!
@@BCFCRoyalBlue yea its looking good for us wev done so well aginst teams around us i wouldnt be spurised if we beat mansfeild hard match but we should get something from the game kro
The Final again Arsenal never take that away from me, Swindon again took me so long to get over it or maybe Watford in playoffs
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. The Carling Cup win was special and right up there with our best memories! KRO!
Hi guys not really a question more of an observation really, when a team has such an overhaul as we had in the summer im lookin personally for 2 or 3 players to stand up and be counted i can honestly say hand on heart even the fringe players have been brilliant when called upon its amazing..from back to front to a man theyve all been amazing somebody certainly did their homework in terms of recruitment!!.great podcast as usual
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. That is a really good point. The players have settled very quickly where a lot of people thought they make take some time. We are not the finished product by any stretch of the imagination however you have to be pleased with the progress we have made in a very short period of time. KRO!

Best... Paul Taits Golden Goal
Worst... Losing on Penalties to Liverpool in the Cup Final
Thank you for your comment David which is greatly appreciated. KRO!
My bad game was blues v swindon 4 0 up half time lost 6-4 thanks to glen hoddle 😢 k.r.o.
Thank you very much for your comment Kevin which is greatly appreciated. I also remember that game, where Swindon had Glen Hoddle playing for them. What a nightmare that was! KRO!
Is Buchanan out for the season then chaps?
Thank you for your comment David which is greatly appreciated. He is not out for the season but he keeps having set backs in his recovery. KRO!
@@BCFCRoyalBlue Good, hope he can get to fitness, he's a cracking little player, a fully fit Buchanan pushes Cochrane for that left back spot, which is only good news for us. KRO, love this channel, keep up the good work fellas.
@@davideco7910 thank you David that is appreciated. KRO!

What did you say to Tom Wagner when you had your photo taken
Thank you for your John which is greatly appreciated.
I kept it quite basic to be honest and just said ‘can we have a photo please!’ 😂KRO!
@@BCFCRoyalBlueadmit it you were star struck 😂
@@PaulEvans yes, there was a bit of that. I just thanked him for buying the club and for what he has done so far. KRO!
Tom Wagner was probably more star-struck seeing Matt and Gary and having his picture taken with them 🤣🤣

KRO!
