I'm 59 ... and what he is saying is not true. You can't build legs without core? Can't build bicep's and forearm without core? Can't build shoulders without core? can't do lat pulldowns without core? Horse poo
I'd argue that general weight training builds core intrinsically because of stabilizing yourself. But if one is older, has never exercised, and is starting to do so from a baseline fighting degrading health, it's important to address weakness just to be able to do exercises. Of course, that could be addressed by starting with light enough loads and progressing only as the bottlenecking support structures get stronger.
To avoid injury and perform exercise well, you need to have stable posture.
I think I saw an excellent, exotic rear delt training method. I have never seen this anywhere else.❤

I like your analysis. Before seeing this, I had a leg focus session at the Gym; I preferential go everywhere locally by bicycle, and I noticed that my legs and glutes were still warm in the evening.

im not a profesional trainer but i do some training anf weight lifting for 10yrs .. and i do have a client now a senior age 78.. and im training him for strenght he got a litle strenght but the problem is coordination and balance . can you give me advice .. thank you so much

The best growth comes from movements that stretch the muscle. French press is great. However, kick backs and reverse push-ups are not. You can get a considerable triceps stret h in the latter but at the expense of endangering the shoulders. I would rather recommend scull crushers and dips.

I like the way you have developed this workout for triceps with the rationale behind the sequence and correct form. Most if not all fitness guide do not emphasise the reason for the sequence of the exercises. The dubbed video is good but would love to hear you in Japanese with subtitles as well. たかはしさん, I'm surprised you didn't mention vacuuming as part of this routine. Once I started vacuuming consistently, I always found it easier and more comfortable to draw my abdomen up and in while standing and walking, and I got to the point where it was that was my natural state and posture. Unfortunately, I've gotten out of the practice and have noticed a big change in my posture and ability to contract my abdomen throughout the day. Its a real effort now, and I cant hold it for too long, so starting a vacuuming regiment again is imperative. For those who don't know what it is or haven't tried it, be sure to look into it, its an immense help in practicing keeping your core tight and drawn up and in. Hope this helps. せんせい、ありがとうございました。🙏💯

I find it difficult to use heavy weight above 50lbs (55lbs) in position to use dumbbells. I have done it but I like to use barbell with rack.
Baby steps… start a little lighter until you can do all the reps with excellent form then add a little bit of weight aiming for 8 reps each set working your way to 12-15 reps for all sets then start over.

I agree with your point; I would like to nuance the Sleep component in the context of mental health, which has a massive impact on T levels. The stress hormone cortisol is a testosterone killer. The ashwagandha herb is effective in stress management and thus is known as a supplement that enhances testosterone.
