I dont believe R1 has a hydraulic clutch or I am really confused.....also I would not let acetone anywhere near plastic or painted parts personally I have seen the stuff reek havok! PAINT thinner is much safer! I only use acetone on things like unfinished metal, glass, porcelin etc

BTW we do NOT have buy Yamaha brand to maintain warranty it simply has to be right spec. IMHO a better filter is HiFlo racing filter because it has a welded nut making it simple to get tightened without the special wrench which I have always had bad luck with

Answers 1st [recent models, some back to 2018, all models/trims.. random 1s are quirky/difficult/different]: #1] 🆕/better fix shared by a gem: opened seat belt buckle w/screwdriver & detached wire running into it from the under seat control box! He taped down plastic part that depresses onto sensor (what 🛑s the chime).. unsure if taping is req'd after wire is disconnected as I just learned/haven't done it yet - can try either way! If wires & assemblies are foreign: ask some1 familiar to avoid injury or breaking something! #2: Most widely found fix was 'seat belt extender' for newer models w/newer & more tech. Gem who shared #1 advised compatibility issues aren't uncommon, obvi not OEM part & some have posed dangers [ie: won't unbuckle].. Ppl took this route cuz they didn't know of #1, uncertainty of under seat control box full functionality (biggest unknown/risk = airbags!) & since unbolting seatS is a b!tch/ unavoidable. NOT 'extender' type w/more belt to get around large body: dual end adapter called 'extender'.. only adds few inches; calling it 'chime kill' invites issues. Looks like combo of plug+buckle. Male end plugs in native female buckle, female end on top looks/acts like original buckle to plug in real seat belt. Upgrade over buckle plugs requiring removal to buckle up. Most comments: chime kill joy, fix for animal passenger, extra length oddly nice & slim few 😡 didn't fit vehicle [esp Cadillac/luxury]. 🔎 'seat belt extend': endless results, endless sites. Fit &/or chime 🛑 can only be known by trying: ensure it's returnable. Newer Hyundai [so likely Kia too], all models/trim pkgs: each seat has control box under it (at least front 2; back seats for some models). Linked to newer regulation that ea seat have dedicated sensors/chimes (+ only way computer can know or alert driver what seat is unbuckled, has air bag or sensor issue, etc). No source waivered on under seat box OR necessity of unbolting each seat to reach/unplug. The BIG BUT w/no fix to 🛑 even anti seat belters: no certain knowledge if unplugged under seat box affects or disengages airbag(s) for that seat! Whole box being only a chime is unlikely.. Some reported heat/power controls worked after they did it.. Yet even some of them expressed concern RE unknown airbag(s)/sensor(s) possibly impacted.

Fosgate is the best. They are very fast if you are a normal person driving to work from day to day. I'm at sea level, so maybe it's faster. Corvette was built for old men unfortunately. My Mustang gas mileage isn't great, but is better than the Challenger I owned.

thanks for the insight but im my experience i dont get how you are making any money expecting perfect cars at auction. The real money are in the extremely dirty falling off bumper and broken headlights. chipped paint on hood cars. You detail them to the moon get a repaint, and do some basic repairs. a bumper isn't hard to change neither are headlights or radiator support cores frontends. you don't have to be a master body manor mechanic but id say its pretty basic stuff.

Interestingly, it's actually supposed to feel "catchy". The knob isn't supposed to free turn. It is supposed to have a stopping point at each number and is not supposed to turn passed the 4 position.
