It always shows how ahead of it's time the r1 was. They haven't updated it for nothin (other then the facelift) and it still competes like crazy. I'm biased as hell but the R1 is an absolute beast of a machine. Nothing compares. It may not be the fastest but I don't even care.
That is a very nice car. My car is a 2019 also with 31K miles. I don't drive it much now but I always enjoy it when I do. I recently had my insurance lowered because I drive it less than was estimated. Nice video, I would keep both bikes. Each one has a unique riding experience. I like them both, but I'm leaning towards the R1. I have a 21'GSXR1000R now and I feel the ZX10R might be too similar. The R1 has the cross-plain plus the racier riding position. Your video was helpful, thank you. Good luck with your decision. I would keep the car too unless you are bored with it.
I sold the car and the zx10. Keeping the R1 until they come out with a new one which may never happen at this point lol. Yes I agree the zx and the gsxr are pretty similar.
Nice, good luck with your R1. I want another R1. I had a 99 R1 with a 98 ZX9R. Later I had an 07 R1 with an 08 ZX10R. In both cases the R1 gave me more confidence in corners. The 2 R1's were very different from each other in the way they made power. Now I want to try a cross-plain. I subscribed and I will be watching you. Be safe, have fun!

brake calipers are much better on the zx though.
zx10r is the best looking sports bike period.
