A simple pencil eraser does wonders on scuffs like that, but I would use the acetone too if its working that well.

lol, that JB weld is not going to hold, you are better off taking metal screen or bend paper clip into z z z shape and plastic welding the back side of the bumper, or $$ panel bond with metal screen backing
I’ll try that next time. The car was a flipper car so I wasn’t concerned for the long haul 😂

Yep. It was the cheapest rebuilt title corvette in the country. I didn’t lose sleep over it. I bet it’s still good.
