They had a bunch of these kind of buses on the Tri-Met fleet in Portland, Oregon. Even the seats, the interior colors, etc reminds me of the ones used in Portland, Oregon too. So where did that particular bus served in originally?

That's very rare to see a 1991 bus originally with 6v92 and Allison 731 converted like a 2002 model Series 50 EGR and ZF Ecomat

I wish high floors were still made! They were much more comfortable. I despise low floors. It is worth a 2 min wait for handicapped lifts if it means comfort for all!

Right before AC Transit started to get the NABIs. Wow. I was born just less than two months before this video. I remember the NABIs dominating lines like the 51 and 88, while the Gilligs and New Flyers (my favorites) were on their way out, around 2001. Only 6 years before the VanHools showed up :shudder:.

If SLO Transit was able to successfully shoehorn the 6V92TA in place of the 6V53, then I wonder if any TMC City Cruiser T30s (the same bus which pre-dated the U.S. Orion I, from 1979 to 1982) might have had 6V92TAs in place of 6V53s later in their service lives, too?

Ride On, the bus service in Montgomery county Maryland used to have a whole fleet of these exact sounding buses that were all 30’. They ran from 1984 to their retirement in 2001.

We had the same flexible buses here in Baltimore. The V8 Detroit diesels, WOO!!! You just couldn't get enough of the old school sound of that V8. You gotta holler like Rick Flair. WOOO WOOO!!!! Lol yeah I'm crazy 😂
