I am a complete newbie and am very fonfused on the ip / dns setting. I keep them as default, but i cant connect to the web interface. it times out everytime. How do i know the ip of that mini pc? It should be different from my other laptop/desktop in the network right?

do you have to format the 2.5'' ssd drive before installing it. i have put a one in my beelink but when i try to install proxmox it says it cant find a suitable disk. I dont have the m.2 as im waiting for new one to arrive.

A lot of people recommend an intel x540 10g dual ethernet card but my NAS motherboard only has an x16 for the gpu and to x1 slots and the computer I will directly connect it to does not have an x8 slot. So even if I got the x540 connected the x540 somehow itll only negotiate down to gigabit. Thing is tons of people say this TPlink tx201 rtl8125 is atrocious for truenas scale but it is my only choice.

What type and size of screws do I need?

I'm putting my first one together. Made it all the way to Step 9 in the instructions where you are to attach the top half to the bottom half. I don't see any holes in the bottom panel of the top half (board C in my book) to insert the wood dowels and cam screws. Did you have this issue?

You have to register the battery to the computer so the computer will not think it’s the old battery. What will happen is that the computer will have the alternator draw more power from the battery which will shorten the new battery’s life if you don’t register it

Thank you for this, like you, I found many comments staying to stay away from the 2.5gbE nics and go straight to 10gbE, which requires a bigger investment, and more power requirements for the NICs. It's good to hear this cheaper solution works fairly well out of the box.

Wouldn't the thief be able to stick their hand into the box thru the slot and grab the mail? It looks pretty big to me. Is that possible? My current mailbox locks and when I forget the key then I sometimes reach thru the slot as well. LOL

Why not just remove the transmission fill plug and fill it normally? 17mm socket and an extension will work.

Sir my drive is segate 2tb internal 3.5" connected to pc via sata to usb connecter with external 12v power supply adapter .but the hdd is unable to turn off and does not stop spinning after safety removal. And not even if I shut down the pc. , and when the power supply of that drive is cut to make it off the drive makes noise of head crash on platter which can damage the drive and cause bad sector if happened . Hence please provide any solution to make the drive turnoff by making read head park safety after safety removal popup.

My 3.5" Sata became unreadable after a windows reset. In Windows Exploerer I did a Quick Format. aslo in explorer it is seeing older partitions of the drive and assigning drive letters, but those drives ar enot accessable. I opened DiskManager to do a full format the Drive. After 8hours it is stating that it is 4% complete. Could it be a failed SATA to USB 3.0 connector cable.

How do they fit in the housing? Any wobble?

Is it possible to add PCIe to M2 adapter on dell R520 ? Would it work with old BIOS ?

Great video, worked perfectly! The only thing you need to keep in mind is that in Canada the 2020 Corolla with 1.8 L engine takes a 140r/h4 battery not H5. Otherwise, instructions were flawless:-)

SO glad I watched YOUR video before I opened it fully. First video I watched, guy’s wasn’t EXACTLY like mine & he said just pull it apart. Noooo! 😢 Then watched yours & you said to slide it toward the KEYBLADE-THAT was the ticket! It was attached at the top-unlike his. I almost broke the driver 2 by following his directions😮PS: NEVER heard anyone say keyblade except in reference to Kingdom Hearts. I kinda geeked out for a sec. Thx buddy!!
