Cz A01LD update
มุมมอง 3K4 ปีที่แล้ว
My experience with my CZ A01 LD now with optic. I should have explained further the 5x5 challenge from @Luckygunner 5 shots at 5 yards under 5 seconds total of 25 shots. When I said I shot them all in under 5 seconds I meant the 5 shot group. The 7 yards was also shot in 5 shot increments and were under 5 secs. I believe his standard at 5 yards is 7 seconds. I did it in under 5 which made me ve...

A trigger that has movement after the wall--like the TSO--isn't "crisp," it's creepy, like every other TSO I've seen, including mine. A01-LD is indeed heavier (I've got one of those too), but no creep.
I think that is the hot on your leg version
Indeed
Good work, the new strings are clearer and have more sparkle but old ones are still plenty good enough 😎
Thanks for your comment
That’s not a Rocket.
It's a Rocket 3
the engine braking sound amazing.
3:35 LOL !!!
Some people don't deserve something like that. Buying a Gucci dress don't make you good-looking.
Update 2023: You can no longer own handguns in Canada. What a shame.
I just got a used Czechmate this past weekend! Now I have the trifecta, a Shadow 2, a TS2, and a Czechmate. Once I went Czech, I never went back.
Great choices. Cheers
Great video…I love your passion in shooting and describing the LTT Elite pistol. Thank you! Btw, what kind of knife did you include to frame the pistol? Is it if comparable quality? Good luck in Canada, where it seems they are becoming more restrictive on your rights and liberties every month.
The knife is shirogorov. Cheers
@@ninjadadPrime Con mucho gusto, ND! Many thanks and… stay sharp!
@@ninjadadPrime Greetings again, ND! If you would be so kind, please let me know the model ir any other identifiers that might help me locate a knife like yours. There are many online, but without any name, number or specifics, e.g., the little rope attached to the knife, I think it would be difficult or impossible to find. Hope you can help? Btw, based on your video, I plan to purchase the LTT Elite “Centurion.” Thanks again for your energy, no holds barred enthusiasm and commentary.
If I remember correctly this is the 111 Shirogorov. Cheers
How is ur Beretta after 3 years and still missfires ?
I don’t shoot it as much, but the last few times I did , it hasn’t done it.
@@ninjadadPrime its an expensive gun, no point for me buying if not shooting. What firearm u shoot a lot and recommend?
@@gloczyslaw19 I have been shooting my A01LD. It’s my go to gun. Been super reliable.
Have you tried CZ shadow orange ? Have you tried Laugo's Alien model pistol ? 92X performace is great Beretta but my opinion is that Alien is much better at least for me, Laugo's benefit is that during colder days it can keep you warm :)
Thanks for the comment Yes I have tried the shadow orange. My friend uses it for ipsc carry optics. I have my Alien and it’s different feel on recoil. Cheers
Just ordered mine, should arrive next week - just in time for christmas! I can't get enough of these videos while waiting. Are these still possible to purchase in Canada?
Sadly here in Canada we no longer can buy handguns.
@@ninjadadPrime aww man, sorry to hear that! Are you still allowed to keep hanguns bought before the new law?
@@Deat87 yes.
That’s awesome. How do you like it compared to your ltt? I’m planning on getting either of the two as a range toy and strongly leaning towards the performance. Aesthetically it’s better looking, great sights and I’m thinking the vertec grip might be better for medium sized hands
For plinking I’d go with the performance. Thanks for watching.
why do you call cz *zz*?
Hi Alex In Canada we pronounce Z as Zed. Thanks for watching.
I know that, but you're not calling it C-Zed though you're calling it Z-Z, that's what I sounds like to me at least
well 2 yrs ago I got mine and you are right. Absolutely love it! It goes with the other 38 to 40 full frame CZs I have.! I liked this so much Stuart Wong at CZC custom made a CZC A01 LD chambered in 357 sig! Its so awesome!!!!!!!
This is is the first year I started competing in IPSC and my A01 LD shines.
@@ninjadadPrime they are tack drivers. .low recoil, accurate and ergonomics are insane
@@Denvco1 very reliable too.
@@ninjadadPrime not one stove pipe, misfeed or anything!
Did you ever get it on a dyno to see what the new numbers were?
Unfortunately not. I have since sold it and got into an H2 SX.
do you shoot it low with this? cz is poa poi for me beretta shoot 6inch low in 7-10yrds for me
T K I actually was just shooting with this gun over the past weekend and no issues hitting target at 10 yards
I've got the 92A1...just purchased...got around 500 rds through it...#1 not a single malfunction so far,#2 there is NO play/wiggle room between slide and frame...excellent fit/finish..it's truly an excellent piece...I've fallen in love with the over all feel and smoothness..makes all my polymers feel like toys..however, I'd LOVE to put my paws on this 92X performance..just wish the price point was a bit lower...their around the $1500 mark in my area
I wish folks would check the pistols for empty before the video starts recording. It is just a waste of viewer's time.
Have both - find myself reaching for TSO more often, better trigger IMO - although the A01 is very nice to hold in hand.
Nice pistol, congrats! May I suggest during the safety check, the magazine should be released first! In the video, if the mag was loaded, a round would have unknowingly been loaded when slide was released!
Very nice pistol congrats! May I suggest, when you safety check, release the magazine first then rack to check chamber! In the video, the magazine was left in and if there was a round in the mag, you would have unknowingly loaded it!
Noted. TYVM
What brand are those red filters? And what parts would I need to have that setup? Thank you.
Those are K& N filters. You’ll need to cut the cover on the air filter so that the new ones will fit. I took my bike to our local shop. As far as I know that’s all that you’ll need. Cheers
has any one of the people here that bought the A01-dl had any malfunctions with it? i would really appreciate knowing. Also, what grain types do you recommend?
I have been lucky with mine. It fires every thing I throw at it. I started using 115, and 124 on occasions. Currently I’m using 147. I have give or take 12k ish on it.
@@ninjadadPrime very awesome of you to respond brother. thanks.
Still love it?
Yes I do😊
Damn bro you got your rolley and 2 of the sickest CZ's out there. Goals man, you are a legend. Inspire us to work our ass off
Sounds good but I’m fairly certain that pipe will fry your leg.
You are correct. Lol
I just chose the TSO over the A01-LD - felt better to me - especially the trigger. Maybe it was just the copies I was comparing, but it wasn’t close.
Great gun 👍
Love the sound . What has been modified ?
Carpenter exhaust and k and n air filter.
Its $1500 sadly.
" Shot 500 rounds" Well, you can tell this video is before 2020 ! Cool gun though, i checked one out today, at Scheels.
How did you like it?
@@ninjadadPrime , its very heavy, and a little more bulky , in feel, than my M9, but the trigger is a nice upgrade. Personally, i have been customizing my M9 with after market parts, and its very nice now, with a lightr trigger, and perfect feeling wilson Combat grips.
I wish i could have one 😭❤️
You keep putting your hand in front of the muzzle I understand there is no live around in there but you got a bad habit it’s a good way to put a hole in your hand
Bah I didn’t even noticed it. Thanks for bringing it up.
I just want that 6 digit on your wrist lol
Lol
How about the DWX?
Bro, there’s another guy who made a video on your exact problem and it’s a small spring. That the hole it goes into is milled a little too deep and all you need to do is get a longer spring. I’ll try and find the video and send it to you. Hope u read this buddy
Winchester Ammo sucks. That's the problem. Go back and shoot your commie gun. Sell this to someone who knows what they are doing.
Why did you choose the decocker only vs safety/decocker? What is your view on it? I’m on the fence with it and need some insight. Thanks.
I use it mainly for competition. It’s a preference. It’s one less step. I have a decocker safety px4 and sometimes I forget to switch the safety and miss precious seconds. I think double action first shot is very safe. You have to deliberately pull the trigger for it to fire.
@@ninjadadPrime ok cool thanks. If you use it for competition did you get the Spartan sights on it or are you happy with the standard sights?
@@maddog8148 happy with the sights that came with it.
Can you recommen a holster for this gun. I been looking for the holster for awhile, but no luck. Thank you.
So with this gun I use the cr speed. It’s a universal type holster. I can use it for my 1911, My A01LD , and my Elite LTT. Hope that helps.
You have any issues with 124 gr. I just got one and shot 124 gr and the first 5 mags through I had two FTE. Is that cause of the 124gr. Does this have a break in or is the 13 lb spring too heavy for the gr. Should I stick to 115gr?
Hey Chris I have shot 115, 124, and now I shoot 147. I have not experienced any fte. I even used cheap steel case ammunition.
@@ninjadadPrime Ill give it a few hundred of both 115 and 124 and see how she goes. I have a 12lb spring coming from CGW. maybe the lighter spring may stop the FTE
That A01 has more pretravel and creep than my custom Tanfo S1 Xtreme. I love my TSO too.
Install the Wilson 150% power extractor spring to cure your extraction problem.
Twistedracer 64 I will look into that thank you.
can you comment on the overall build quality and fit & finish? I have a 2020 production and it's got machining marks all over it, very poorly machined and put together, I wonder if the 2019 productions were any better. Thanks!
Don Bay sorry to hear that. Mine seem well build and I can’t see any issues with the build and finish.
@@ninjadadPrime Maybe I should sell mine and try to source a 2019 production. Thanks for the reply!
Goodluck
Hi!where did you get the cutout version of bear claw? I have a ramair and trying to find a cutout bear claw to go with it. Thanks
Yang Yang I had it cut out in a local shop.
Ninja Dad thanks! is that a auto body shop or metal fabrication shop ?
We have a local shop that does custom work for motorcycles.
Waiting for the Feds to approve the transfer to me!
any malfunctions with it? i would really appreciate knowing. Also, what grain types do you recommend?
@@riverswater5688 yes I have stovepipes once in a while but I feed it midrange ammo and I don’t clean it much. It is a custom gun and needs to be treated as such. It isn’t a Shadow 2 but even then, I’ve shot my S2 so much it was stovepiping too. It is however amazingly accurate and soft shooting.
@@MichaelClaytonCo thank you. i have a shadow 2 and have never had a malfunction. What grain type do you recommend and have the least amount of malfunctions with? :)
@@riverswater5688 I have been running 124 grain. I put the 11 lb recoil spring in it and it has been fine since. Not shooting as much with the price of ammo so still not totally redeemed
I own both, IMO the A01LD is better. It has a heavier barrel, its more balanced less recoil and the trigger is awesome. For me its weird to try to compare the triggers because the TSO is single action only and the A01LD is SA/DA. That said when the A)1LD it goes into SA its extremely close to the TSO. The TSO trigger for me is almost too light. A few things I don't like about the TSO is the plastic trigger, the plastic bushing for the guild rod and the fact that the jet funnel is not blended to the gun. Fast reloading can cause the mag to get caught on the exposed lip. Now perhaps they did all that to keep the price down but IMO at this level these issues need to be addressed.
Agreed. Lets not forget that AO1 forged frame.
Thx for a great review, any information on the accuracy of the beretta 92x performance. whats the size of a rested five 5 shot group at 25 yards?
