well 2 yrs ago I got mine and you are right. Absolutely love it! It goes with the other 38 to 40 full frame CZs I have.! I liked this so much Stuart Wong at CZC custom made a CZC A01 LD chambered in 357 sig! Its so awesome!!!!!!!
I held one last night while picking up my order from my gun range wishing I had $2K to buy it. The slide felt so smooth, so natural. The trigger was insanely smooth. Definitely on my wish list.
I pick mine up tomorrow! I can’t wait! I wanna convert it to SAO and install a flat trigger but may have to have a gunsmith do it. Amazing looking gun!
I like the '75B' style version of the AO1-LD. This is the 'SP01' style version which is also gorgeous. However, I think it'd look better with some aluminum grips
CZ A01-LD is competition ready right out of the box. Workmanship is first rate. You can buy a lesser pistol, but will spend more in attempting to add mods to get it to this level.
@@ninjadadPrime I sure hope so, was torn in between the Accushadow and another S2. Now that USPSA changed its Carry Optics weight to 59 ounces this platform meets the standards that all others will be judged by. CZ makes awesome competition guns! Curious, how does it shoot? Compared to your CZ Orange? The barrel is not accurized so I'm curious if it's as accurate as or the Accushadow? Hmmmm.... Thanks again ~

has any one of the people here that bought the A01-dl had any malfunctions with it? i would really appreciate knowing. Also, what grain types do you recommend?
I have been lucky with mine. It fires every thing I throw at it. I started using 115, and 124 on occasions. Currently I’m using 147. I have give or take 12k ish on it.
You have any issues with 124 gr. I just got one and shot 124 gr and the first 5 mags through I had two FTE. Is that cause of the 124gr. Does this have a break in or is the 13 lb spring too heavy for the gr. Should I stick to 115gr?
@@ninjadadPrime Ill give it a few hundred of both 115 and 124 and see how she goes. I have a 12lb spring coming from CGW. maybe the lighter spring may stop the FTE
TSO will be my next, as soon as 9mm shortage is ‘over’. Played with one at local shop. Amazing smooth trigger at 2# or less and couldn’t hear or feel the reset. The usual great CZ feel. But, Can’t see buying anymore 9s when local (NY) ammo supply is precarious.
@@riverswater5688 yes I have stovepipes once in a while but I feed it midrange ammo and I don’t clean it much. It is a custom gun and needs to be treated as such. It isn’t a Shadow 2 but even then, I’ve shot my S2 so much it was stovepiping too. It is however amazingly accurate and soft shooting.
@@MichaelClaytonCo thank you. i have a shadow 2 and have never had a malfunction. What grain type do you recommend and have the least amount of malfunctions with? :)
@@riverswater5688 I have been running 124 grain. I put the 11 lb recoil spring in it and it has been fine since. Not shooting as much with the price of ammo so still not totally redeemed

This is is the first year I started competing in IPSC and my A01 LD shines.

I just ordered my czc a01 ld today! Cant wait!
Denvco1 I think you will like it.
Omg love it, this is one awesome piece of art
Denvco1 congrats and enjoy.
Much thanks and thank u for a great vid
Denvco1 cheers
Awesome piece, just took the plunge on one of these but I went with the compact model.
Barnes Built no doubt you will love it.

ZFlyingVLover looks wise I think some of those aluminum grips looks great. However personally I prefer the g10 grips.
Congratulations great gun.
Ramon Benitez thanks brother.
Nice video and an excellent gun!
Impact Guns yes indeed. What an excellent gun and Thank you.
I saw one in my local gun store an fell in love with it. Just trying to justify the $2,100 price tag.
I hear you. But once you remove the band aid you will have an awesome gun that will last you a lifetime.
It's cheaper there here in PH if it ships it would be 200+K or $4,000+ hahahaha
It's cheaper than the Wilson combat edc x9

chgofirefighter I find the recoil impulse is slightly better in the A01LD.
chgofirefighter , hello. Are competition pistols such as this able to shoot defensive round or is the barrel designed for lite loads only?

I’ve only owned revolvers. With that being said, my question is are competition pistols like this able to take heavy load ammo ?
mark cronan honestly I do not know. However if I were just to guess based on how the gun is built like a tank I’d say yes.
Yes, +P with a 14# recoil spring.
I wonder how will this gun compare when the dwx comes out?
That would be interesting although the dwx is single action only.
