Faultless Defense Cancel jK is Xrd and R Faust's hardest piece of "tech" to get down. There are much easier (and arguably more effective) ways to use FDC, such as with FDC jH, but I know how you all love to fast forward right to the hard stuff. I'm gonna check on Dustloop, and if you answer this, I'll come back and confirm my guesses. If not, I'll just do OK with my guesses. Can all or even most characters do these things with 5P? If not (or even if so), what elements of Faust's 5P enable this? Off to dustloop I go. Thanks for the videos.
Dustloop says: ABA's (current character I'm learning) 5P has the same start up, one less active frame, but one less minus frame on block (I'm assuming that means they are mostly the same). It also says that her 2P is better for abare, but that wouldn't apply to the jump out situations you mentioned in the video. How am I doing?

Clashes in this game have a chance of activating Danger Time, a mechanic that basically turns every counter hit into a cancel-able move (as if you used a roman cancel) with 20% extra damage. People sometimes joke calling this strive mode, because of the massive slow-mo and damage.
