What is the best way to practice the 236h->iad->j2d safejump? I'm having a hard time in training mode because I have no idea if on the random times sol dp's i am too late with the 2d and don't get it out at all and on the random times he 5k's i am too early and would've gotten hit. I see the charts for char interactions for it, but no consistent training setups or things to look for.
Can't you just set dummy to s.Viper on wakeup and then: if the little puff of flame appears while you're airborne and you have time to land and block, you did the timing correctly; if the little puff of flame doesn't appear but you were able to block, you did it too late? I'm pretty sure the animation looks noticeably different depending on whether j.D became active before you landed.
How does that delayed close slash OS work? You can block before the move comes out?
First 2 frames of every normal can be FD-cancelled. This is so you don't need to hit two inputs on the same frame to FD.
