My family of 5 spends a LOT of time around the kitchen table. 🤗 Making plans for a farmhouse kitchen table for this special space in our home and building that table had been on my to do list for a long time.

    Great idea , particularly due to the acacia 20mm I planned to use for my top board. I was concerned it would crack during routing, but as I’m installing 3 tracks it looks like I’m cutting my top into 6 pieces lol

    This is one of the first DIY bed frames where the legs look strong enough to not wobble! I think if I do this one I'd add in another leg at the corner to make more of an L to get support in both directions.

      You don't need plywood - you can use particle board under the top boards. You have to spend money on the top board anyway - that's not specific to this idea. 😜

    Doesn't work for any flowering plants. Zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, gourds and so on.

      Use this to protect plans when they're little and most vulnerable. Then either take it off, or use a net with wider gaps between threads to let pollinators in.

      Unfortunately no, bees will not get in with that net. You can look for another net with lower thread count though and still use the PVC frame as shown.

      Mine is still intact after 3 years, and we have lots of squirrels in the backyard, so I'd say rodents will not chew through it.

      I have not used the latest version, but I'd be surprised if part rotation has changed. It's such a basic function. Make sure you're using the correct mouse controls.

    Hack! Bend the top hinge knuckle out and the bottom knuckle in. No door removal, no sanding, no dust. Work smart, don't work hard.

    Sorry but that looks terrible. The top of the door is now curved. I wouldn't be giving advice when the outcome doesn't look good.

      Thanks for the feedback. This is not meant to be professional advice, but it's an option that works for very little cost. I can't speak for others, but I never look at the curvature of the top corner of a door when I walk into a room. If you're picky about that, hire a professional - just be ready to shell out a couple of hundred bucks. Also note, doors run against frames because houses settle - a perfectly square door will not work in that case.

    There is no need to remove the door. Sanding could be done on the top of the door while it is attached to the frame !
