For first boss if you dont have ranged weapon then sort of you missout on a lot of dmg. So basicaly ots nesceseray to have a bow?

My company and I have been running this a lot lately and trying different gear scores. The lowest we are able to clear is everyone was 635 to 645. We didn't have any range just melee it wasn't that bad..We tried the same set up with range instead melee it was a lot harder but still cleared it .

Great, thanks ! One side note : splash of light only heals your party. Not the whole raid. So you should probably have 4 ranged dps in your group as they tend to spread out more if you're the dps healer.

why is 300 con important when you gain grit from heavy greatsword attacks?

Bow is useless on the raid, (you can see you are being carried by other dps, your damage figures are 1k) better going for rending hatchet/spear, you get 4-5x or more damage per throw.

So DPS are supposed to switch to adds on Typhon, right? I just had a group that only tunneled boss. The other healer and I were left to run for our lives.

Why so much fire harnessing perk on the gear? How does that equate to more dmg?

Why does nobody talk about the Butcher Bleed build for slash damage? When I used it a year ago it was probably BIS damage even over the rapier most of the time. Did something change?

Your spreadsheet has so much fire damage/harnessing. Does that add flat damage? What fire ability are we using here?

Boss that takes full teams, but dude still solo's it. Your reward? Shitty waste of your time or RNG crap drops = New World

Honestly after 50% it's not really that optimal to fight on the pillars. He constantly breaks them and players often spend more time climbing pillars than attacking. Players that don't pay attention to the roar mechanic often die to pillar breaks. The roar is a huge opening and people can just pile in and melee everytime

Since a lot of people seem to be using this for info and some of it is wrong, my two cents: KJ is a dead perk in raids because it no longer stacks. Hoplite bow is not BiS for this raid or even all that good for this raid at all. If you are a bow player, odds are you have trash bows in your storage that are great for this raid. GS is not crucial because this is not a mutation. Anything 680+ with good perks would be totally fine imo. Keep in mind that pen rapid shot is really the only essential perk. Other good perks for bosses include vicious, vorpal, and KE. Mortal refreshment/power can be nice for trash mobs as well. Ideally you hit 3 of those boss perks, but only hitting two would be fine and still be better than a hoplite bow imo. Also spam heavies on first boss to deplete the stamina faster. Less important: The mobs/bosses in these dungeons also only take 5% more damage from fire, so splitting with a ruby is not 100% necessary, especially if you do not have any fire harnessing gear. Also the cannon heartrune is really nice for the first boss if you're in a pug because it deals a TON of stamina damage, which is really nice to just ensure that your group is able to consistently deplete the bar. It is also nice for boss 3's flowers. If you're using cannon on bosses 1 or 3, make sure you pair it with RoA, explosive arrow, and lifetaker to get the best ult charge. **Full ranged loadout sucks on boss 2, don't do it**. You also have enough space on the pillars of the first boss to roll and proc evasive tactics without falling off as long as you shorten your roll with the ADS button.

Would finisher be better than Omni 700 rapier with this exact setup? Just down so many perks even tho finisher is 725….

What is the rotation you use for the rapier. Are you going evade, single attack, flury, repeat, or evade double light, flury?

That ultrawide monitor makes it impossible to actually see the build in the excell doc. Especially on a phone. Make that muuuuuch bigger if you want people to actually be able to see it.

I didn't have time to watch the whole video so I wanted to ask in the comments. I couldn't understand the logic of why rapier should have keen+rogue perks. Keen and rogue side by side is a bit weird isn't it? I would be very happy if you could explain this to me because I've been thinking about it for the last few minutes lol
