Very nice. Looking for motivation to get mine going. Have an 88 grand wagoneer and I do a lot of LS stuff in general. Picked up a 6.2 liter with a 6L80e a few months ago that I haven’t touched and I think this will be the engine and trans I will slap into the Wagoneer.
Hi great job I did the swap on my 83 wagoneer with a LS 5.3 I have been having issues with the fuel tank It is not flowing enough fuel to the inline electric pump How did you set it up? Did you use the original tank? I would really appreciate your comment
Did you keep the Dana rear-end? I'm doing a swap for a customer but the engine has 540 hp the rear-end won't handle it. And no one makes one it has to fabricated. Any help would be greatly appreciated
The Dana rear end wont handle 500hp? I’m really surprised at that and would have thought it would handle that power easily. Guys are using stock 8.8 units out of explorers in their twin turbo LS swap fox body mustangs that are pushing 1k-1200 hp and those stock units hold up really well and I would have thought the Dana could handle more than a stock ford SUV unit. Interesting
@@Zero2SixtyPerformance did that include all the parts, engine, labor, etc? I’ve got a 1991 in comparable condition except it’s white with tan interior and the 360 is toast now. I either need to rebuild the 360, or either do a hemi or LS swap. Id prefer one of the later choices because it’s gonna be more dependable, more power, better fuel economy, etc. the Jeep will be a daily driver and After 12 years, I’m tired of her being a dog and I want to bring new life into her that will get me another 20 years at least. I’ve got 3 of these things but for now, I want to get the 91 back in tip top order. How long does it take you to do one of these swaps? Thanks for the info brother, take care, be safe out there

Want to put a 1970 / 71 Ford 429 w / c6 short or long tail auto transmission ?
No
How can I get in touch with you about questions on this swap?
I have an 89, parts from Novack but no LS1, keep getting the runaround…
I wouldn’t do an LS1 anyway. Shoot us an email. I’d be happy to help however I can, no runaround

It'll handle 500hp. Get a good locker and 35 spline chromo shafts.
@@thescottishhammer7570 I thought it would
Can I ask where you got the digital cruise control?
Dakota digital
can you do this to an '83 limited?
Ofcoarse!
Awesome!
I want to make one just like that we have a 1976
You should. This thing was one of my favorites for sure
Headers or no ..
Yes. Shorties
Absolutely awesome! What did all of that work cost? Happy to provide my email if that’s something you want to keep confidential. Thank you!
