The goal of this channel is to save as many old International trucks built between 1934-1960 as possible. While I'm limited in the number of trucks I personally can save, I aim to show you not only how to revive the originally drivetrains, but also how to keep them running correctly. My truck rescues are some of the most elaborate out there.

Tips For A "Poor Man's Patina"
Like I say in the video, patina is a controversial subject. But check the drama at the door, because no matter what you prefer- if you're trying to make patina pop, bring back old luster or just uncover original paint- this video should help you get the results you want.

มุมมอง 2.4K9 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I’m finally getting into the territory of “aesthetically-pleasing progress” where the final look of the truck is starting to come into focus. There’s still an incredible amount of work to do, but that’s the fun part in my book. Want a slick Bare Knuckle Binder shirt, hoodie or sticker? Poor mans patina is not something i thought i'd hear. Ain't patina a poor mans thing???
From here in Australia thanks Old Mate for the video. You must grow a thick skin with everybody giving you their opinions 👍
Thanks for the breakdown! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
@@MariaLewis-h1b I’d probably just turn it off and then turn it back on again, usually works for me.
An actual paint job costs a fortune, maybe that’s why patina has gotten so popular. Love your videos and taste in trucks/tractors.
Seen melted wax donuts for sealing toilets to the floor used also.
@@DaronSitton-e8n never heard that one before!!
Sorry, but to me rusty, faded, and worn paint that’s shiny, just looks “off”. Fake in a way. Maybe that’s just me, dunno. Your truck, your choice.
@@notajp I agree with that completely.
Hey just remember , that gray white on the truck red stripe . Was a civil defense truck . My dad had just like it . I was 8 or 9 years old ,had to sand & paint it with a brush , Red . He work at I h farmall for 35 years, i work there 14 years , then they close the doors .
Keep the videos coming.
I like to wipe my trucks down a couple times a year. They look good and it’s a lot less time and money than a full paint job. Plus I use my trucks for truck stuff.
@@cliffhaupt5413 that’s for sure, less stressful when you work the truck and don’t have to worry about paint.
Great video. I’m a vintage boat enthusiast and do very similar on vintage steel trailers for boats.
Eric I have things that will help you with the dents in rear fenders . I will send them to Holden bros . I get them ship off this week .

Enjoying watching it come together, its gonna be a really sweet truck. Late, but I hope your thanksgiving was happy...
Love driving through Nevada. The desert is the best, have driven all over it. Been a while since I was in Baker, so need to go back there. If any of you are interested my friend creates educational videos of old mines in Nevada. TH-cam - Ghost Town Wonders.
Where were you when we were cleaning house? Sold a few of my dads old IH trucks. Had a few R models including a shop built 54 R160 he put a NOS 308 in . 5spd 3spd aux and 2spd. rear. Also a couple house moving trucks including a 6x6 one man cab a frame truck. The R160 sat inside untouched for 50 years. I have a NOS Sun tach in the box with transmitter and pod in box. Any idea on value? for 6cyl.
@@timpolicandriotes5454 man! What a treasure trove! I’d say that tach set up NOS in the box is worth somewhere north of $250 on the low side.
How far was it from hyw 50 to Hamilton?
@@cliffhaupt5413 IIRC it’s a little over 12 miles.
It’s looking real good. What did you say you use for the carb gasket material? Thanks for the video.

You better allow yourself some extra room between the back of the cab and the front of the box if it has running boards attached to the box. Otherwise, through the arc of travel, they'll hit the cab
🔥
Love the video. I just pulled one of these out of a field. Lol. Could you suggest the best way to get head bolts and gasket? Thanks.

I cant wait to see this trucks redemption.
Man your awsome , really like your music . Have great Holidays , be safe .
Most people think that driving across the desert is sooooo boring...I am not one of them....I look out and see a dirt road meandering up the side of a mountain range and wonder what is up there that they spent the effort to build a road....Always something to see and think about while crossing a desert....

I can't believe how timely your video's are for me. The twin ram hoist on my "57" A-120 4X4 won't close all the way either. The previous owner placed a rough cut 2"X4" under the front of the bed. I think he did this to assist with the lift. Thanks to you, I'm ready tackle my issue.

Eric, your video (from 2 years ago) inspired me build to be a Coleman tribute truck. My 1953 R-120 has been in the family for 71 years. The build is coming along very well. Of course, I wish that I had an original Coleman conversion, but I’ll settle for the Coleman look! 😃 Thanks for the inspiration, Eric!
