I was out in my shop working on my 1973 travelall, then came in the house to find a brand new Bare knuckle binder video. Life is good. I was going on a very remote camping trip years ago in my travelall, so I filled up both tanks only to find out that over night it syphoned out a bunch of gas on the ground. Weird.
All the way from South Africa thanks Eric And Jess for the trip share so comparing your country/state side shots to parts of SA and Namibia countryside landscape
Just found this video by chance and subscribed to your channel. As a lifetime resident of Nevada, I have travelled many of these same scenic dirt "byways" of our state. So glad you got to see these historic roads and places on your trip. Also, I love old binders and look forward to watching your videos! Early Scout would be cool to have. I've been lookin'!
I can just imagine how much gas that old Travelall is sucking down. My IH pickup of that vintage definitely liked the fuel, and it was only a 1/2 ton 2WD!
I just found your channel yesterday and I love the content. Subscribed! I love Internationals and have owned a few/still have 1. Was looking on Facebook marketplace and found 2 35s for sale up here in the PNW... in case you're interested. Not cheap but the trucks are rare as you know.
Just think about how many old IH pickup trucks rumbled over those old mine roads back in the day. To see you do it today is a real treat. Great Job!
Thanks for the ride along !! I live in the country , but that's really no man's land !!!!!

Watching this made me go out in the garage and sit in my 56 lol! Road trips in an international are the best
I used to drive a Loadstar with the switch valve under the seat. Had to catch it and turn it before the first tank ran out.......Or Else!

@@notajp we got it more dialed in as the trip went on, but it definitely is a gas guzzler!
double clutch and a rev inbetween at 19:10. That works in big rigs.
Hey Ody, I’m a life-long double clutcher for the downshifts, but don’t know how that would work shifting up?!
@@BareKnuckleBinder Engine speed matching, You can float the gears that way.
