I hope that shines through in my travel videos and that you find my content helpful.
If you're Scandinavian, you might know me from Rejsekris.dk (🇩🇰), Resakris.se (🇸🇪) or Reisekris.com (🇳🇴), where I've been travel blogging since 2013.

Day Trip to Maya Bay & Paradise Thai Islands (Honest Review)
มุมมอง 4K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
I took a day trip from Ao Nang in Krabi to the famous Maya Bay. Was it worth it? 🇹🇭 The tour I was on was a so-called early bird speedboat tour. The idea is that if you get up early, you'll beat the crowds - I'm not sure if we succeeded, but the tour was still worth it, in my opinion. There were a few sour notes, though, as I mentioned in the video, but as I said - we were pretty unlucky on thi...

Fun fact : the Louvre has 35000 art pieces on display but it owns more that 500k of them.

I can’t believe you forgot to mention Canterbury! One of the most beautiful and historic places in the whole of England and just a short train trip away from London. Truly not to be missed 😊
I only use the RER or metro to get from the airport to town. It’s great. Then i always use the bus - sightseeing for almost free! The metro is crowded, dark and full of pickpockets. I also get a day pass on the water taxi.
Don’t try to be polite to scammers. We had a group of young people with clipboards surround us. We said no, but they wouldn’t leave. We had to start yelling no loudly, waving them away, and yelling at them get away from us.
The flowering trees around the little the mermaid in Autumn were very beautiful though it was very cold to be out there
I wish I watched your videos before visiting Copenhagen.
😩😩
@destinationwellknown I visited Amager Strand beach, Calsberg breweries, little mermaid, Christiania and other places but I felt I didn't explore Copenhagen to my satisfaction
Not “things I wish I knew”. “Things I wish I HAD KNOWN”. You’re welcome
As a resident of Tokyo, I was shocked at how short the pedestrian street crossing times are in London; and you need to look both ways before stepping off the median strip because the cross times are staggered. Just because it's green on the first one doesn't mean it's green on the second. That said, nothing compares to crossing the street in Hanoi! Why are UK trains so tiny? Japanese trains are spacious and the Japanese are so small compared to Brits. The Northern Line trains are absolutely claustrophobic with very narrow aisles, the width of a carry-on suitcase. Paris is my favorite city on the planet in part because of the architecture and the way the city is laid out. I didn't think I would like London so much but there's history around every corner even though the buildings are a mishmash of styles because of WWII destruction. I like to spend a minimum of a week and explore the different neighborhoods. St John's Wood and Maida Vale are very posh and interesting to walk about.
Danes always b*tch and moan about winter, but it's not that bad! It's not that different than much of the US east coast from VA north. If you don't have kids and want to avoid crowds, go after US Labor Day. Airfares go down and the weather is still lovely. Also nice around Thanksgiving when fares are cheap and the Christmas markets start popping up. There is always something nice to do in CPH any time of year- just pack the right clothes for it! Otherwise, he's right about all of these.
I'm not sure about the haggis but I certainly enjoyed the video....
People are rude its always freezing food is not good snd its one of the most depressing places on earth.
The only things worth seeing in Copenhagen are : Nyhavn, Tivoli and The Little Mermaid! Everywhere else is crouded by Danes!!
Your camera work is amazing...I feel as though I am standing next to you listening to you rather than watching a video on TH-cam. I'm glad I found your videos...I have a couple of upcoming trips to Europe next year.
Oh wow, thanks a lot for your kind words and for subscribing 🙌
Lovely vid! Merci! For wonderful city views without pricey tickets: the top of the Centre Pompidou, the roof of Printemps dept store, and the roof of Galleries Lafayette. For younger people wanting an edgy vibe, check out the 11th and 10th Arrondissement. Lots of thrift shops there, too. Also, much more affordable places for hair and nails on every main street, without paying the hefty prices of the 6th arrondissement , (Saint Germaine), or the Marais.
Nice Paris travel tips - thanks for sharing 🙌
This is solid advice! Been there done that except for the Palais Garnier... I went to the nearby Starbucks instead. It's the most beautiful Starbucks in Paris and feels a bit like the Palais except for the cost. Located at 3 Boulevard de Capucines. It's the ONLY Starbucks in Paris worth my time. I don't love chains or Starbucks in general. I would love to travel with you🤣 Definately subscribing! Can't wait to see where you take me next.
Thanks a lot! Oh, that sounds awesome; I'll have to check that out when I'm in Paris next. Haha, thank you!!
Tipping isnt a thing in London is nonsense. There won’t be a taxi driver in London that isn’t happy with a tip.
Hello, thank you for your video about London. Can you tell me which pub that is in the introduction (minute 0:48)? They have freshly tapped Asahi.
That's at the Lamb Tavern inside Leadenhall Market. Lovely spot to sit and people-watch ✌️
You are right that the Metro is excellent. My suggestion is to get a Carte Orange, which can give you unlimited travel for a week or a month, without having to worry about all the little tickets. For tap water, just ask for "un carafe d'eau," and you will get it for free - no bottled water!
Great tips, thanks for sharing!
Just FYI, "Abbesses" is pronounced "Abbess", the final two letters are muted (as is the case for most french words ending with -es)
Ahhh! Thanks
Study a guide book before you come to London. The sightseeing bus for tourists is reasonably priced. Most of the museums and art galleries are free
Excellent. Croydon is the pits.
Cheers
Has anyone who visited Paris experienced difficulty navigating the metro? And how would you rate the difficulty of using the metro on a scale of 1 to 10?
8/10. If you've got Google Maps on your phone and use the route planner feature it's super easy.
Here's a good one, skipping. I recommend skipping London.
Nice one
It’s really ridiculous how people think it’s always raining in London. The weather is identical to nearby Amsterdam and no one ever comments or thinks this about Amsterdam.
Agree (Was in Amsterdam right before Christmas and it was pissing it down as well)
You're so handsome ! Come back anytime you want, and try Provence and the south of France you'll be surprise how different the life is !
Haha, thank you! Yeah, I definitely need to visit more of France
We are traveling to London in June. Staying in an apt. in the Vauxhall area right on the river. I hope we made a good choice. Figuring out where to stay was overwhelming.
Vauxhall is quite nice! Have a lovely trip to London
Very nice city tips. CPH is one of my fav. Black Diamond Library coffee, next the Jewish Museum with panorama view is my tip. I was exhibited my art jewellery in Rundetaarn Gallery. My next tip is modern area around Bella Sky Hotel with close Metro Station. Most beautiful accomodation with apt. renting is a STAY Hotel Copenhagen with fashion shows on the roof thru Copenhagen Fashion Week..... From the airport is a closer thrip by train to Malmo in Sweden. Eurovillage is a new area for the fans of modern architecture with visionary aerodynamic Turning Torso by arch. Santiago Calatrava. This city have an unique esprit for the cooperative creative and green thinkers across all communities of CPH.
Thanks! Great Copenhagen travel tips as well, thanks for sharing
Been there from 2008-2010 and the nature is amazing.
U like saying "literally" alot
Thanks for pointing that out, I had literally never thought about that
Beautiful arab city
Do make an effort to learn the pronunciation of these landmarks. A foreign accent is fine, that's not the issue.
Ok boss will do
@destinationwellknown Okay. Don't. 😂
"London is not a theme park" ... really? I thought it was a theme park with extra steps. Or maybe I am thinking about NYC.
You are good! Sexy, great body, but with the more vital elements such as that intellectual gravitas you possess, and excellent annunciation and delivery of information. You are superb. London should be honoured by getting your personal attention.😅 Love it!❤
Haha, thanks a lot 🙌
London is over crowded, over priced and dirty in many areas.crime is high. Not too pleasant. Fine for some history, or nightlife, otherwise its unpleasant.
Very good review.. thank you very much.
Thank you!
FORGET 21 THINGS TO BRING JUST BRING LOTS OF MONEY AND A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR AND YOU ARE ALL SET!
On the other side of the Hart bakery in the meatpacking district, for coffee lovers, go to Prolog coffee. You will be surprised !

Could you please tell me how can I go from Koh Phi Phi to Khao Sok park 🙏 i dont know how to do
Get the ferry to Krabi and get a driver up to Khao Sok. I just checked and the journey takes around 6 hours if you get the 9 o'clock ferry from Phi Phi. You can book online here: 12go.tp.st/ecAc5tU1
@destinationwellknown thank you so much!! 🙏😁
Used to live in the middle of Copenhagen 40 years ago, Just by the Queens house. 150 kr a month rent, stood on the Walking Street selling badges, ear rings and necklaces. also worked as a DJ in a few of the local night clubs. Moved out up north as the city became too crowded. Not many Danes could speak English back then. How things have changed.
Hey there, have you been to normafa area?
So pick me girl
Thank you 🫶
Kris, you are very good looking.
Haha thank you!
@ Men like how cute you are.
I’m new to your channel and i really enjoy your Edinburgh and London videos, I’ll be going to visit in October but currently I’m looking for a place to stay… i don’t like spa type hotels i prefer simple and i wish i could find more old traditional lodging like the stone walls fireplace wood nothing modern it’s been my dream to visit for years and finally making it happen, and yes a Harry Potter nerd here to 🤣🤣🤣 if you or anyone has any suggestions please let me know, a bit nervous as I’ll be going alone for the first time ever so please somewhere safe… and thank you…
Visit Hull in Yorkshire. See the real England.
Hehe
Exactly. I'm a southerner but yorkshire and County Durham are beautiful. Anywhere but London.
Amazing video thank you! Totally worth subscribe
Thanks a lot - welcome to the channel 🙌
Les Parisiens ne dorment pas le matin, ils travaillent 😅 Ils sont au boulot et n'ont pas le temps de faire du tourisme ! 😂
Exactement
I can't believe you discovered Palais Garnier so late. I visited it on my first trip to Paris and it is one of the 5 most stunning monuments of Paris.
I know - it's definitely on my must-see list in Paris from now on
Personally I’d steer well clear if Borough Market - it’s over saturated with tourists - go to Camden or Leadenhall
Not all tubes are tiny / for example circle, Hammersmith and city, metropolitan lines are mich bigger because they are surface on much of their routes / overground lines are larger too
