It does look like she's gotten a bit better, good on you for trying all that you've done so far. She really looks comfortable in this video and I agree that any unneeded stress is best avoided.
Hi Kirk, it’s Alex. That’s rough mate, we all make mistakes, they make us better business owners so don’t beat yourself up. My dad once bought a tank with big Barramundi in it, put them straight into an esky for transport with chlorinated water in it…. It sucks. We recently installed filter systems on our water supplies for the pressure washers which is supposed to remove chlorine, I can show you how we did it if you’d like. Bit of an extra measure to avoid it in the future. Alex
So, I had the same issue with bloating angelfish. With mine it was from worms that I treated with Levamisol and that worked really well. I know that this med is not avail in your part of world but, luckily it isn't worms your dealing with.
Sorry to hear about the rainbow fish my biggest disaster was going into my fish room to see an empty 180 gallon tank that had cracked on the base and 25 dead african cichlids laying on the sand ...
That sux about the rainbows. Best thing I have done in the fish room is inline water filters. I’m in brisbane so similar water and do 20% daily water changes on 40 tanks. Never add water dechlorinator.
Ive wanted to do something like that but I currently rent and not own so I can’t install anything too permanent to the house water system. Usually never have a problem as i double dose prime to be extra safe, i just completely forgot to add prime this time and the consequence was this but thank you for the tip and useful info
Just type in the bunnings website search bar “arlec 10w led flood light” should pop up for you but here you go just incase www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-10w-led-diy-security-floodlight_p0184010
Thank you fof the support, i bought the brand “Rack it” a few years ago but can’t say id do it again as their measurements don’t allow for a lot of standard tanks to fit properly and you end up wasting a lot of space. Hope this helps
Has been a real fear of mine Kirk. So sorry for your loss.. 😢
Hate to hear about the rainbows but everything else is going great. Thanks for sharing

Try soaking the pellets before feeding
Epsom salt is great ive done it multiple times for my fish
Its generally my go to if bloat happens
Dang that sucks dude, sorry to hear that
That really stuns you when a disaster hits quickly. Hope you can move forward. Mistakes happen.
Yeah definitely not what anyone wants to happen but we learn from our mistakes and can move foward with it all. Thank you

Oh no that’s rough, I can only imagine the pain of losing 25 african cichlids. Hope you were able to recover from that and still keep going
@@Kirks_Aquariums Got a new tank that day i wasn't going to let that beat me....
My angels also don’t find vegetables really attractive, never ate them. It’s always bottom feeders and guppies that eat them.
That led light hot some kotle issue with power supply LED strip works. Could be a simple repair like power adapter repkacement
