I became a SC2 content consumer through Harstem but uThermal is who made me stay for some two years now. My favorite YTer!!!!

I'm mostly watching Broodwar these days... Ghosts are the biggest problem for me in SC2... Snipe shuts down so many interesting late game zerg units... It's just not fun to watch... I like watching the mutalisk harass in Broodwar... Mut muts just get wrecked in SC2.

I was obsessed with Statcraft when I was in highschool, 20 years ago.

That was beautiful. Thank you for making this video and others like it , it’s a special game to many of us.

SC2 was great for so long but it kind of died for me when that big group of players went to the army (zest, inno, trap, ty etc etc) all left within a year and didn't return. It was never anywhere near as good after that, I miss those days.

Ill never forget, sneaking to the family desktop at 4am or whatever to watch moletrap and diggity casts of gsl games live.

Please remove the background music in future videos. Or at the very least, lower the levels so that it isn't hard to hear people talking (but again, preferably have no music).

even if sc2 esports goes down, the hardcore community it has will keep it alive, and it will come back, not as big but still visible that's my prediction

Zerg weakest race as always. Why dont infestor have auto attack like templar for instance? Blizzard hate zerg players who are more skilled then the other players

1:09:20 absolute chad for the Beyond All Reason mention. was just wondering why he'd omit it from the list. it's the only recent RTS game taking UX seriously and at the same time it's developed by a community of volunteers every other RTS dev studio that doesn't take their interface and put it into their own game is an outfit of clowns

Good to see that there are still SC LAN parties of that level! It reminds me the ones we did at our college (pretty much every day). Priceless memories, even though the maps were so terrible at the time :D

I've been following the Starcraft Scene on and off since Wings of Liberty came out. Though I did play SC 1 when it came out and loved it (fell in love with RTS with Dune 2, Red Alert Westwood Studios games). I am feeling like there has been a bit of a resurgence in the SC community as of late. Great video man!

Desde que vi jugar a mi hermano mayor a Starcraft en 1999 me enamoré del juego, directamente. Hasta tal punto que lo sigo jugando a día de hoy y lo más loco que he hecho fue ir a Corea para presenciar en primera fila la escena competitiva que tantas veces vi durante muchos años, la primera temporada de la Korean Starcraft League (KSL), el viaje de mi luna de miel fue Japón, pero me desplacé 2 días a Corea solo por Stacraft Brood War, sueño hecho realidad. Larga vida al rey de los RTS.

A world without StarCraft is not a world many of us would want to live in. Feeling grateful for StarCraft and much love to everyone in the community. It's been such a huge part of our lives I'm sure, and it makes casting games easy when there's so much to be excited about. ❤

I was around fifteen when this game came around and i can only remember the countless games that i have played be it on use map settings, infinite resources like big game hunters or simply ladder games to improve at 1v1 ... And the fact that this game is still popular and i can still jump on ladder to play occasionally at the casual level and have some fun even up to this day is simply crazy and amazing.

He's basically carrying the SC2 scene in the last several months, he's a real workhorse.

its weird, when ppl be like but so diff on cast meanwhile they go to work and turn on work personality then go home and throw controllers at their tvs, who would have guessed ppl can control themselves when they have to.

Starcraft even somewhat sc2 has always been the thing i know 100% i can return to and love, it got me through many tough years keeping my sanity, (or boiling the blood sometimes lol) it will always be the best game and most memorable game of my life, would be surprised if its a thought even to the last day im alive the only thing i wished was that i lived somewhere that had more ppl into it, South Australia i think ive met 3 ppl who even know what starcraft is. tbh would move countries for starcraft if i could have lol and crap, now that im thinking about it, actual tears, cuz tbh, i probs wouldn't have survived my early life if not for the joy amongst the crap that sc brought

StarCraft to me is what it was once called, Warcraft in space. I love the story, the characters, the missions, the mechanics, the settings. I've never played StarCraft 2 as my computer is too weak to handle it, I imagine I'd love it even more if I played that too.

as someone whos known airn forever, i can tell you that starcraft has made him a more open person, I'm so proud of a person my friend has become, and I enjoy hearing about his events, keep it up you guys

Would love love LOVE to go to one of these LAN events one day, but I am sooo bad at the game (starcraft2 main). I’d get destroyed before I even walked through the door. 😔
