Yeah, I like the look of the stock versions best.....but they easily get in the way and get broken easily.

I heard that Backflip might have slightly changed the way it mounts toward the cab - someone posted a photo in a FB group. I didn't know about the bed rails though...did they do away with the slide rail dropping brackets?

Yep, it comes with lowering brackets to lower the rail slightly.

Yeah, I can't agree more - especially the flexibility portion. The stocks are really bad.

@@tacomanetwork yeah, off-roaders simply remove them because of how they break and how stress that happens can break its mount too. That's not a perfect solution. A longer, more flexible mud flap makes a lot more sense to me.

Nice! I have a set of ditch lights waiting, but haven't installed them yet. I'm waiting to do a lift/wheels/tires once my stock tires are done (hopefully this summer). I think the ditch lights would only be proper on a lifted truck IMO. The CaliRaised LED lighter is blinding though!

Hey! Yes, that's the North hangar that sadly burned down last year. It's sad what a combination of greedy cities and developers will do to our national landmarks/treasures. Hopefully the South hangar will remain

One trouble shooting note: Your lights cannot be on "Auto" for this to work. Otherwise, there have been isolated models/years with this issue - best thing to do is contact Form for that info

😂😂🤣that image was when I drove it off the lot. Even today with all stock suspension/wheels/tires and just a tune for performance, I get maybe 275 with mixed driving on the supposed tank calculator. In actuality, I usually get between 300-320 based on about 17mpg. Longer trips on highways, I have gotten up to 22mpg, so if you calculate it out, it’s about 400miles per tank

I haven't. But I have heard of people chasing problems with aftermarket lights after install. Usually it has to do with the wiring and being exposed somewhere on the line.

@tacomanetwork I've seen most of the issues with those Amazon lights the windjets I believe. Hopefully Alpharex have better longevity

It’s 100% stable. I only experience issues maybe every 20-30 times when it just doesn’t connect…..but simply unplugging and replugging fixes that

Rich, after reviewing the Garmin mini dash cam, some of the people said it is garbage or has mixed reviews on it. Has it given you any issues since you’ve owned it? Honest reviews of products are hard to come by these days. I reviewed products in the RC (Radio Controlled) space for over 10 years and the waters do get muddied. Typically, vendors send over product for review. The exchange is product for video to get their product in front of your audience. On the RC side I had over 100K subscribers globally, so the amount of product coming in was daunting. For the Tacoma Network, I'm building the platform still. With that all being said, YotaVerse did send over the grill to be reviewed. I did disclose to them (like anyone I review products for) that no matter what, I will give my opinion on the product. I will usually contact the vendor if things go south and give theme the option if the video goes up or not. Since I was fairly new to Yotaverse, I only opted for a product for video deal......which I should have built in a commission, since my original Yotaverse video has sent over 2,700 pre-qualified customers to their website as of this comment. Even if only 5% bought from that 2,700 on a $300 grill, that's over $40K in sales from my video. To date, the grill is my favorite upgrade on my truck. It makes it unique.

They're a great addition! I just used mine this weekend and they're so much better than the stockers

I actually prefer the Alpharex over the Form. I ended up selling the Form once I got the Luxx's from Alpharex.

Hey Garrett - wow, small world! Yeah, I stopped doing RC in about 2021 (Although I made a comeback last October for Tekno's new SCT410 2.0). I just don't get enjoyment out of RC anymore.

These have faired pretty good on my pretty much stock suspension / wheels / tires Tacoma. They're a nice blend of semi rigid and flexible if that's a thing

Big assumption (meaning a lot of money to gamble on). I would contact BakFlip and make sure. I'm sure the bed size is identical, but if the mounting points are slightly off, it might be a big issue

Yes, all stock screws get removed....including the hidden one on the bottom I pointed out. I only replaced the ones on the bottom.....otherwise the new flaps' screws get used in the existing holes

That was brand new off the dealer lot. I get 277 at best right now for 50/50 mixed driving. I have gotten 350 before, but that was on a road trip after filing up 3-4 times

I have heard that if you unplug your battery (remove the negative) for 15 minutes, it will reset your mileage average. Not that it will help in the longterm though. I really hate the way it figures out tank mileage. I usually get about 300-315 on a tank without going into the 2+ gallon reserve. In otherwords, when I fill up on "E", I have 315 on the trip odometer. Once I fill up, it will say "276" miles to empty. Really? I just got 315! Then, once I start driving it will start correcting until the trip odometer + till Empty is once again about 300-315 miles. I'm still 100% stock suspension/wheels/tires and just the OTT tune

Well, the device allows our 3rd gen (2020-2023) vehicles with wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto to connect wirelessly. My phone is always connected via blue tooth, but with this device, I have full connectivity via the Tacoma Screen for Spotify, Google Maps, Podcasts, etc

Its pretty solid - the only issues I've had: 1. One out of every 30 times it connects, it doesn't read the USB device. Simply re-plugging it fixes that. 2. Only when streaming video content (like watching YT while parked) the audio is delayed. As for sound, it's solid. No issues with skipping, or sound issues. I've noticed that Apple Music sounds better than Spotify - meaning same song. It seems like the Apple Music file is better quality. This is all from streaming too.

All good points. As for the fans - mine are not audible to me when the truck/lights are on. I'm not that critical (light spillage, etc) on my LED upgraded lights. I just want them to work and look decent over stock....and not leak, which these haven't.

@@tacomanetwork i'm noticing some condensation in my right stock taillight and the signal on my dash flickers faster than the left signal. Looking for aftermarket replacement. Not sure why most manufacturers are only putting amber on the higher trim levels.

@@AinsZ Which ever light is flashing faster on your dash usually means you have a bulb out (I have an F150 as well as the Tacoma).
