How African Countries Are Getting Paid To Stay Poor
Go to invideo.io/i/JudeBela to begin using Invideo to bring your ideas to life.
The IMF was created many years ago with the intention of providing loans to countries in financial need, but the conditions attached to these loans seem to be causing more harm than good for poor African countries.
This is the story of one of the world's biggest financial scams, where one of the most respected financial institutions in the world keeps paying African countries to stay poor.

Thank you for this, I have been trying to fix the puzzle why Good luck Jonathan and Obasanjo are asking for one Nigeria under impossible situation. Now it makes sense to me why they are asking for one Nigeria, it's because they made a pact with Dangote to continue his empire of Southern Nigeria wealth in his pocket. The LORD of the Universe will give each of them according to their ways.

Very informative analysis but one cannot help but wonder which is keeping Africa perennially destitute -- the disastrous effects of IMF loan conditions or the theft and repatriation of those loans back to the West by African leaders for their personal use. I strongly believe the latter.

Africa has always had a leadership problem, although we're wealth in resources we fail at manufacturing, exporting raw materials at cheaper prices and importing the finished goods at higher cost. That makes no sense. We keep looking elsewhere than here. Too much reliance on either the west or asia. Friendships aren't bad but they also come with negative implications. Illegal mining by the chinese that leads to destruction of water bodies serving certain communties. Scams on the rampant, corruption, abuse, etc. We have to produce and export more and reduce imports. Education is still a problem as majority of the population are uneducated. So they are easily manipulated by cheap incentives and religious disagreements. Loans aren't essentially bad but they're not free they come with interest rates. There is so much Africa can provide to the world but rather we focus on trivial matters and cheating each other. Colonisation should never be encouraged but objectively it had its positive aspects. So not everything are the colonisers fault. Otherwise human sacrifices would sacrifices would still be a thing. We need to address our problems and stop always blaming others. The problem has always been here. Hence the reason so many Africans travel abroad. Thanks for your piece.

The current usury based money system is built on keeping individuals, companies and countries in debt. It is the casino owner that always wins, not the players. And if you deign to break the system, they will take you out. The best thing you can do is not to play, even if it means a subsistence living. But how many people are willing to live like that?

You will be forced to go back and buy seeds from this s*tanic people. This loan lenders deliberately send bororo to eat farmers crops that got loans from them. Now, farmers on debts. WAKE UP AFRICA! This is happening in Nigeria already. Make sure to own lots of natural seeds from now on please, farmers. Thank you. Allegedly 😉

The issue is the military without a military to crackdown on the people the government would listen to the people. Most militaries in African countries are composed of the poor, uneducated, and those taken from prisons and they don’t have morals so they obediently follow government orders even when it goes against the will of the people. The military should not be a government puppet. We need to get the military to serve the people or create something powerful enough to subjugate it

Great video. I like how you carefully carve out your own country Cameroon, the political disgrace of Central Africa where tribalism, corruption, backwardness and hedonism runs rampant. France carefully orchestrated the worst coup ever known to man by replacing Amadou Ahidjo with the senile thief Paul Biya. Ahidjo’s developmental plans could’ve helped Cameroon emerge by now. While I remain optimistic of a video from this Central African disgrace ruled by equatorial gorillas, I must commend you for the economic sagacity you enumerated in the African geopolitics. Well done.

What a stupid question and I don't mean that the presenter is stupid or stupid to ask but to say that if the people weren't such enablers this question would be moot. Yes, Nigerians are sycophants and that aspect of their persona is the prime enabler of politicians to pillage the economy without recourse or remorse. We hail the politicians for their calumny, we salute them, prostrate to them as they dehumanize us. So they continue to abuse our acquiescence by acting contemptuously to our abject stupidity! imagine Tinubu, who has run rough shod over Nigerians now in power he is empowered to stride the country like a colossus and autocratic potentate. So he does as he likes, so did Buhari and nary a tear for the masses! We are really in a sorry state, but I digress, we are now expected to lie for bad governance, by looking the other way as we are pummeled by a variety of bad policies and should just grin and bear it, because tomorrow will get better and with not even a glimmer of hope to hang on to. Oma se o!
