I added a comment 10 months ago and now after purchasing 18 Microtech’s, I agree even more with you! I have added a lot of the new natural clear versions, Hera II, Combat Troodon Gen III, Gen III with Interceptor blade, 2 Cypher II’s, a few Ultratech’s, a natural Clear Glykon, last Gen Merlot Combat Troodon Warhound… LUDT, Stitch… everything you say applies especially the stability of the company, you know they will be around where some of the newer competitors seem to make knives and disappear for long periods of time - this is a great company with great products and the new models with upgraded actions are just incredible!

Protech is overpriced imo. Nice designs but too expensive for todays market. Benchmade has the exact same problem

They're great company from what I've heard. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get the Modded PM2 with those scales, blacked out hardware, screws, and liner with their acid stonewash... it's an apocalyptic anomaly for sure! oh, added a LNW DCC as well... I might throw on a EMP EDC tab too for fun.. I've had a few PM2's but always gave them to friends or fam because they loved them so much -- this one is MINE!

I have that same exact Medford. Blue and all. I'm lovin it. Only slight negative is it's very tight to flip. I can barely even get it to flip open with the tab. Sometimes i can't at all. I have to use the button.

Im fairly new to automatic OTF knives . But i do own a few already. Benchmade, Guardian Tactical, Microtech and Kershaw. But... Dang it, the Ultratech is REALLY STIFF in actuation to all the others. I can actuate my Combat Troodon 10 times easily...havent fidgeted with more reps than that. But after 3 or 4 reps on the Ultratech, my thumb is tired out and has a deep trigger shaped impression on it. Is that normal for an ultratech? Ive already got a repair order in, waiting for Microtech to email me a shipping label to send it off for them to check it out

Rather than just looks does it feel as good as the stock clip, because that one does feel good in hand, this one looks like it's higher up and farther to the end of the knife? Thanks

Just bought one again with the drop point. I bought one years back when they were still 154cm and gave it to a friend. I just had to get another one. Just bought it today actually. Such a classic but still a beast. I have much much more expensive knives but this grip & my 940 lives in my pocket.

A 1st gen Sprint Ops Pro, S30V and G10, is in my pocket. Buck has a very competitive EDC folder in the Sprint knives.

The Skyline from Kershaw used to be 20 bucks! And other Kershaws with similarly nice sandvik steel were $12! Inflation is a b@+#$! But nice knife!

I might have to pick one up as it reminds me of my Kershaw Iridium which was awarded “Best Buy” at Blade Show 2023.

I had this exact knife back in the day when they first came out but I gave it away to a friend. I just bought it again today but it’s s30v. Not sure if it’s an easy to resharpen steel.

Very nice knife! I have never owned OKC folders until tonight, mainly because I have heard great things about this knife and if OKC really does go under and doesn’t have a future buyer it will add to the knifes uniqueness factor. Sad for the workers of OKC of course, I have two of their fixed blades and believe both are high quality.

You are 100% correct! My collection consists mainly of Chris Reeve (I have 17). Now that autos are legal in Pa (Thank you KnifeRights and Doug Ritter), I have ordered several Ultratech’s - these are tremendous value and supporting made in the USA is key these days! Great video!

I know this video is a year old but I just got the same scales from knives plus today I brightened them up a bit and installed them on my cutlery shop exclusive pm2 warincliff in CHS-XHP with a dlc coated blade and they look amazing on it I've got some classic basket weave carbon fiber scales on the non dlc coated warincliff. Do you still have them scales on that knife?

I’ve had a Wave for the last year, I didn’t even know you could get fakes that looked remotely a lose to the real thing. My black wave has terrible rubbing on a few of the tools. The pliers are still so hard to open despite using it daily. The knife was a joke out of the box I’ve had sharper dinner knifes! Yet this was ordered through a reputable seller in the UK. I love the tool and functions I just wasn’t blown away with the quality I’d expected due to all the hype of the tool. I’ve had cheaper pocket tools for years that have better QC than my wave. It’s just sad that this was my first experience of a Leatherman tool. Mines defo not a fake, but I don’t think the standards are as good as they once were.

Just ordered one Monday can’t wait for it!

I have got to tell you that you people are a joke you think $290 for a pocket knife is cheap you can buy guns for less than that look at us the amount of material that goes into making a pistol and a precision that goes into making a pistol and you’re going to compare the two I think you people have lost all sight of what expensive fish there’s not enough material there to justify the price and as far as the machining is concerned, I’ve seen better and considering the 99% of this work is done on CNC you people need to get a grip

im using nose spray for 3 years .... im scared that im gonna need surgery . Its so hard to quit , my nose becomes so stuffy its like a rock in my nose completely blocked ....

The endura 4 will always be my all time fav knife there just awsome to ise and my fav is the full spyder edge the one edge type everyone hates but i have bits to sharpen them and when touched up thay cut very nice but saber and flat are even better and thay come insnaly sharp :o but for the price you get your moneys worth :) all always buy the endura 4 as the years go on sure i have kershaws zero tolernce ckrt or buck but the endura is my go to :) and if you have to deal with water again get an h1 there also awsome
