My parent bought me a sealed box of 1990 Donruss cards as an "investment"...30 years later I'm still waiting for the investment to pay off.

Okay....just pulled this very exact card....but its got a miscut on it, there's a clear groove cut on this card. Whats up with that?

I have a question for you. The sets that I have are half green border and half blue border in one set. is this correct or am i possibly missing some cards

I might be the only person who loved 88-90 Score. So easy to read the backs with the font and full color.

Also the final printing several of the players who had even been traded prior to the season or during the season to different teams they changed the team names on the cards. Which I recognized in your back of magazine you were looking at however back in 1980s they were very much sought out. That was considered a more of an error than the misinformation On The backs.

I have a Yaz error that Beckett didn't recognize. The reason I got a box printed in the first few hours. I was told by Mr Beckett who ran a card stsnd at a then abandoned mail in Dallas that became a weekend flea market it had a few errors. He knew someone at Donruss who had guaranteed the box was in the first 25 ever printed. Not long after that a small newspaper like publication appeared st his stand ehich in olved listings of error csrds. I kept it for a number of years until it finally just disintegrated from being in a storage locker. When I asked about it later before the flea market officially completely went away cuz the mall was eventually destroyed the old Lockwood mall on Garland road in Dallas he was told that the yaz era was caught after only a few sheets went through the press. If it been a numbered card it would be under 100 that were printed. Throughout the years I have looked many of the Yaz cards from that Year and have yet to see one that has the error on the card I own. Now the real bad part of the story is this. For this box and 25.00 I traded him by Joe Namath rookie. Have you been Graded would have probably been between a 3 1/2 and a 4. The what you may not understand is a 1981 that cars real value what about 65 to 70 dollars and better shape than mine. In 1981 I was 30 years old and I had been a collector card since I was 12. So hopefully someday we'll get around to sending it to PSA so they can authenticate it. And maybe sell it for half of what a Joe Namath I could get.

I remember at the time, even the overprint of the black line were considered 'errors' for whatever reason.

Are any cards from that era worth anything significant?

i have a Dale Mohorcic 1987 Donruss error card .the front is off center quarter inch but back is perfect!!!

Hi! Me and my son we just found out a Hero error card in the Match Attax Euro 2024. It is Jamal Musiala from Germany whose card has the Italy back instead of Germany, but not only that, the back is printed upside down. Not sure how many of these are out there.

He’ll do you k ow why people on eBay have this card and says it’s a bullseye error card for like 200 plus but when I look at the card I can’t see no difference in the 5 dollar one

You pulled a few short prints. All the All Star cards in that set were short prints. As far as errors go the Walter Davis was an Uncorrected error and the Terry Porter may or may not be an error because there was the error and corrected version available. Not quite sure what the error is. Also the Danny Ferry rookie is a short print. Not too many good error cards in that set most were uncorrected including the Jordan All Star error that I always see on ebay as a "rare" error card lol.

I have been having a upper deck baseball card over the years that has an error. On eBay I saw that it was quite valuable, however I wouldn’t go to a grading company. Because these days it just doesn’t seem worth it, so who, what or where do you go to?

Maybe next time...I say that a lot when opening packs on my channel 😂

I love errors.

I won last year Giancarlo Stanton 7/15/2023 and still says "in progress" and its been almost 300 days and still nothing.

I've always considered the Nolan Ryan cards to be error cards when they put the wrong backs on the card. I own the correct and "error" versions, but never thought they were worth more than a few dollars 🤷

My husband was going through a lot of cards he bought from someone. He Found a 1990 hoops card that's In extremely good shape that only has a picture of the player on the back.
