Hello! Pretty cool gift. You may have some money there. That is a period of time when cards were over produced and therefore may not have much value. A good place to start is by looking at sold listings on ebay for specific cars. PLEASE make sure you look at sold listings and NOT NOT NOT current listings! There are many sellers listing worthless cards in the thousands.

All cards from all mfg'ers during this time period had bad quality control due to massive over-production. No there isn't a specific issue with this card being miscut, but miscut, blankbacks, spots, etc are super common and don't add much value. Don't take my word for it. Look under SOLD listings on ebay (not ACTIVE listings), and you can get an idea of the value of junk wax printing flaws. Thnx.
