Love this! Im absolutely a Durston fan... You guys really brought out the fun side of him in this interview. So fun!
Thank you sir! Yeah he was a lot of fun! 😄
I think it was my interview questions 😅
@@benmcauliffe8650 Probably. :)
Dan definitely likes to stir the pot. Another quality episode.
@@benmcauliffe8650 Totally 🙂
You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Thank you.
I would say this is a lot off topic 😅
Look at your face-book Kar Williams I tell you what you need to know to find the gold!
I'll check in with him when I can and find out if he did. :)
Loved seeing all these folks together. Thanks!!
Thanks so much for checking it out!
Love to listen for the humor and the backpacking tips!
Thanks so much for the encouragement and checking it out!
She smashed those questions damn......good show loved it 💪🇦🇺🍻
Indeed!
This was fun loved it 😊
Thank you so much for checking it out!
@BackpackingandBlisters this channel is underrated ally love from Tasmania Hobart love the podcast I listen while I'm at work mowing lawns and gardening.....keep up the great work......🇦🇺👍💪🙏
@@TasHikingAdventures Seriously appreciate the encouragement. That keeps us going!
Wow! What a waste of time. I thought this was going to be weird stories about Red River gorge.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Thanks for checking this episode out! I must be missing something on your question.
@@BackpackingandBlisters looks like a crypto currency bot 😄
@@higler. Weird. But thanks for the heads up.
Alice seems like such an engaging person, I don't think she has a boring story about anything. Well done on the episode guys.
You are too kind. She is a very easy person and has been...everywhere. :)
This was so much fun to watch. Thanks so much for making it happen!
Thank you sir!
The only one I missed was butt packing. I’ve never heard of it. Is it like slack packing?
:) More like a very large fanny pack instead of a backpack.
I’ve used Skratch for ever. It’s more known in the world racing community.
Here is the best ultralight tip you never covered: remove the straps and waist belt off your pack and carry it in your arms
Love that one! I’ll save that for the future. Thanks!
Such an awesome episode!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate you checking it out!
never heard of Skratch or Nuun? How?!
I guess Skratch is not as available as I thought. But Nuun definitely is.
@@BackpackingandBlisters Same. I thought they had a larger presence outside of Colorado.
Plenty of it in Oregon 😊@@higler.
As said before another great episode. So much fun to listen to. You guys MUST do this again!! Great job guys!
Thank you so much Jay!
We'll try to line up another one.
Loved it!
Thank you so much Jayme!
@ I commented on Apple podcast reviews. 5 star 😂
You forgot the pecan for the nut that makes you go to the bathroom
😂
Thanks for watching Angie!
Wait..I rewound but didn't hear. What is the Northern most NP? Lake Clark?
Yeah, I think it got edited out somehow. My mistake. Gates of the Arctic.
No for scratch labs. This is quite entertaining...lol. And I was excited cause I actually knew a several...unlike real Jeopardy. 😂
That's great and that was our hope!
This was great fun
Thank you so much Joy!
Never heard of Scratch Labs.
Really? I sent some to Sally and Steven after the show. They should be at your local outdoor store. Maybe they're smaller than I thought they were.
I’ve never heard of scratch labs!
Steven, sweet lighting setup, looking very professional. I'm jealous - backpack and large map hanging on the wall!
You have now! I hope you enjoy them!
Smaller, Colorado based company so I'll give ya the pass on that one. But NUUN is sold in like every grocery store, probably right across from the Coca Cola 😋
@@higler. :)
Love ya work love from Tasmania 🇦🇺💪
Very entertaining. Can the next one be just Steven trying to guess word puzzles for an hour?
Sounds torturous!
We'll ask him some word puzzle questions again for sure. :)
Love it!!
Thanks so much Dan!
I can tell you this show is a Staged Farce. I'm in the area and the locals all know it's fake
Gotcha. I know a lot of documentary type shows are structured that way. But I still love the story and cinematic camera shot and the beautiful area. And I love the folks on the show too.
The series is a scam. Total drama
I hope not.
lol you got me
😄😄😄

Thanks for leaving a comment. Not sure what this means though. Sorry.
Thanks for your input. I did a double take when I read the title. My first thought was, is it terrible gear or a terrible reviews?
Maybe both? 😄
Big fan of Deadman's Curse and this just popped up in my facebook feed. By chance did you happen to ask the Lagina's what they have found out what the circle with the dot refers to in their search because they have found out that it was used by the templars (now days free masons) as a sign for gold.
I'm a big fan of Deadman's Curse too. Love the production, story-telling and cinematic quality. Not to mention a big fan of the cast (esp Kru). I should have asked that question. We were limited on time. They gave us 30-40 minutes and since we're a backpacking podcast we didn't want to get to into the weeds. But the Laginas were great!
I've been bugging your podcasts for the past 2 months, loving every episode. I listened to this one in November 12th as you were announcing the premiere coming out that evening. Keep up the quick fire questions. When though I usually lose.
Thank you for the encouragement and feedback! Really appreciate you taking the time to tune in and comment!
wait,,,,MSR makes a knife?????? Yes please!
Not sharp enough though. :)
Hilarious!!
Thank you so much!
😂😂😂
Thanks for watching!
I feel like I’m on Amazon; everything is either 5 stars or 1 star.
I thought everything was 4.7 stars there. Most people love it. The select few think it's the worst thing in the world. :)
@ That’s how you get the 4.7, it’s the average of only 5s and 1s. But the videos are absolutely 5 out of 5 Nalgene bottles.
@@benjaminheyler3313 Love it!
I was considering that Swiss Army knife but was curious what the R value is on it?
Probably 8. :)
This gear review....5 stars
:) Thanks David!
You did not mention that the sleeping bag was too small and was more like a pillow but too big for a backpacking pillow
That was better than my idea for sure. :) I'll save that one for the next time. Thanks!
Great episode. I will be looking into this series i have not heard of it in Australia. Im really enjoying the addition of the quick fire questions.
Us too! You never know what they will say. By far the most ridiculous answer when he says he saw marty smearing mud on his face
Thank you sir! Appreciate the feedback too!
Again another stellar episode guys! Love these guys and the legend right here in Canada. Can't wait for season 12. Keep bringing the awesome guests and keep up the great podcasts. Huge fan!!
Thanks so much Jay! Really appreciate the encouragement!
You might want a slightly smaller shovel.
For ultralight backpacking? No way.
dope story no subscribe button!?
Thanks for asking. I’m not super experienced in the YT world yet. I’ll have to figure out how to add that. Appreciate you!

:) Thanks Brian! Your name is in the hat!
Where can I find the Leave No Trace 3x5 card? So you sell it as merch?
It might be next weeks giveaway. :)
