3:05 that’s the timing cover not the valve cover. Having fujibond on the bolts that hold the oil pan is normal, pan has to be torqued down before it dries or could leak. Refer to all data or STIS for the procedure. Thats more silicone than factory. The bead has to be a certain diameter and it goes on the inside of the bolt hole only (not both sides) check your gf car if your buddy did it the exact way you did in the video

Steal. Why? A loaded standard Corolla hatch is like $28k+ MSRP. So for up to a +$21K investment/premium, you get all that is different, brand new, installed by Toyota's best. All in all $21K for being hand built in a specialty factory in limited production with all the (brand new) parts...for a $20K premium over a standard loaded hatch Corolla...this thing is a steal.

Got my Mk8 GTI SE DSG new back in August 2022, and I’m considering picking up a Mk8 R or waiting for the Mk8.5 R. Not sure I want to trade my GTI, I may just keep it and have both. This video was very informative from a daily driver perspective and I need that. The R is definitely a vibe, but so is the GTI!

Sad part about oiled k&n style air filters It will slowly dust that engine and by the time you realize it it will be too late I've had this very thing happen on several vehicles with well maintained filters. I wish they sold paper elements in that style of filter like they do for diesel trucks.

I see so many videos of people putting on all these aftermarket performance parts. But I don’t see any engineering or technical stuff in most of these videos. Just because an intercooler is bigger or because the piping is bigger doesn’t automatically mean you have more performance. A larger intercooler could flow less than an OEM intercooler that is smaller. Lower boost temperature means lower boost pressure. The reason you need a bigger intercooler is because you are flowing more air because you put a bigger turbo on it or you tuned it to run higher pressure with the stock intercooler. I used to watch this channel a lot, but then I started seeing all these gimmick videos coming out of this white garage instead of people actually doing work like a technician.

Thought: Just do a resonator delete with the stock exhaust, it makes a better impact on the sound while letting you pass on the full $1200 system. Then if you want to go ahead with the full system down the road, go for it, but the. resonator makes more impact on volume than the rest. (...unless you just do a complete muffler delete.)

The suds lab is actually less costly because of 32 oz bottles, and you can dilute. The sprayers actually work pretty well. I have just about every product you’ve shown. They all work ok. Especially the suds lab ZA. Between our 4 cars and doing 2 or 3 customer cars per week I use enough stuff to be able to try different things without having three shelves full of stuff that rarely gets used. For cars that get maintained frequently any of these will do fine. But when a tough job comes in, I’ll use some higher end product to save time. Nice job on the video.

The only issue i ha was that I had a hard time aligning the front camera to be level to the horizon. i remember that my older rearview camera (Red Tiger) you could rotate the camera to align it better to the horizon.
