Temp is important in cleaning reaction time. For every 10 degree increase in temp, you double the physical chemical reaction. This is proven for all chemical reactions.
How did u get the baffle strike?
I’m still not sure. SICO didn’t even offer an explanation either which is frustrating…. I’d like to know for sure so it doesn’t happen again. lol The only thing I can figure out is maybe the Neilson device 🤷🏼♂️?? I’d ran this on 6ARC, 5.56, .300blk, .458socom and .22LR with no issues but that 9mm…. Both barrels checked out good with the bore alignment rod and the Neilson Device is the only variable that was different.
can ya shoot it like that?
lol. I’m sure you probably could but not sure it would be safe. I’ve no clue how much pressure that extension/filler sleeve is rated for without being inside a 223/556 chamber.
my aug a3m1 didnt like this bullet
I did another loading earlier this weekend, pulling it down to sub velocities. I’m still on the fence with my overall call on it though….
I’m just a random guy. But could you possible provide a video over the 95 grain bullet as well? I tried liberty ammunition 98 grain overwatch and it failed to feed 3 times in a box of 20. I’m using a 16” barrel on a a3m1 Aug. the bullets get stuck on the hollow tip lip when trying to feed up from the magazine.
I got in some Lehigh 115 Controlled Chaos Bullets today. They should load to the same OAL as the 95gr so stay tuned. 😉
Thank you. Being new to the gun world is hard. Must have been harder back in the day. T I’m just trying to seek info on 300blk ammo and reliability due to the vast variety you can run. If the 115 does well out of something that is even close to my build I’ll buy some to run testing. I’ve just purchased the hornady 110 vmax but I wanted something lighter like those 98 from Liberty or these new ones I found with Lehigh, the 95 grained! Thanks for your 300blk content, it helping people out believe you me!
Can't wait to see this channel blow up! Loving the content!
We GOTTA get you a can on that set up. Especially for the sub testing. Thanks for the content sir. Keep it coming!
I have a can (SICO Hybrid46M), and a 10-1/2” pistol that I’ll be using in some videos later on. I wanted to make sure these sub loads out of the 16” first. Lol. 😂 😉
I just ordered new contacts for my 2008 model so hope that fixes my issue. I just bought some lithiums batteries for replacement. I'm done with Duracell's.
I’m using Berry’s spire points as well but prefer Vhitavouri N-110 over the CFE Black. I think it’s MUCH quieter.
I’ll also be interested when you put out the accuracy video.
I picked up a 21" Odin complete upper and have been shootin the 90 grain ELDX and it has been a tac driver. 30.1 CFE 223, FED match primer
Thats Awesome! I considered the 21” when I did this last 24” but wanted to squeeze some extra velocity out of it. It’s still on my short list of future projects though. Glad to know it’s as good as the 18”.
That is the slowest H110 357mag load I ever seen with this bullets.
Appreciate the work that went into this 300 blackout series
lol. Thanks and it’s definitely been some work. I’ll be adding several more bullets over the next couple of weeks. Most are supersonic and some may pass through the gel. These are loads I’ve used over the last 12 years. A couple right after I got my first .300blk in 2012. 😂 125gr FMJ, Hornady 125gr ballistic tip, Nosler 125gr open tip, Speer TNT 155gr Accu-tip, Remington 175gr, Amax Hornady 200gr Partition, Nosler.
Loving this 300blk series. Thanks.
Ive done this same load along with tipped maker 85 grainers in 300 blk using h110…… great stuff
Great information, thanks!
Dude I was worried when I saw you spraying so much but the end result is great
Thanks!! 😉👍🏻👊🏻
220 isn’t my choice although it’s a boat load of energy for inside the home I worry about how many walls it passes thru after it does its job, but I understand the idea that supersonic rounds will be disorienting inside your home due to the noise
This is a subsonic loading. Just over 1,000 fps.
Thanks Matt.
This is what I keep in my bed side rifle
It’s a great choice for a people stopper. 👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks for sharing this! I’ve got mine ordered. Hasn’t come in yet but I wanted to see how it operates.
Have you noticed the lil gun powder being temperature sensitive?
Only time mine doesn’t pick up velocity is when my battery got low
You shooting at 15’ though?? 😉😂.
Also at transonic velocities yawning is fairly common and may have induced the flip
Hornady use to be the gold standard but I’m not impressed
Awesome! My favorite caliber that’s new to me. 👍
Thanks
Thanks

You’re going to love my next video set!! My sister is the FCS extension agent for Meade Co and my yard stick is from the extension office! 😂
@kentuckyrangetime How cool. I noticed the stick. :) And I just watched your 300Blk drops. Way cool. I have an AAC sbr I love. Later.
To say the gun I got is accurate, is an over statement. Yes, it is fairly accurate inside 10 yards. Certainly accurate enough to ruin someone's day. And my copy is reliable. The occasional failure to chamber on a full magazine, easily remedied with a tap on the slide. But seemingly every time I disassemble it the point of impact changes. Which I'm chalking up to the crude sights provided, and the construction which allows the barrel to move around somewhat. Zeroing this little toy was a real chore. After 45 rounds of zeroing with rounds all over the place and a keyhole or two, I shot 15 rounds at a steel silhouette at 35 yards, hit 6 out of 15. My minimum expectation would be more than 10 out of 15. Federal 35gr. jacketed hollow point. Trigger's good. Not sure if its the sights or the barrel. Gonna try some different ammo.
Was that 50 or 100 yards shooting target?
100yrds
So, it was concentric with the alignment rod...and you still had multiple strikes on .45 cal baffles using different 9mm ammo, and different barrels? I can't see how that would be possible even if the can had walked almost all the way off and had drooped down in the front. If it had done it with different ammo but using the same barrel, then I might be able to understand. I had a 10" Aero barrel in 300BLK that keyholed really bad for the first 25 rounds, and I mean BAD! The bullets were hitting the paper completely sideways at 25 yards, but I still didn't get a strike with it on my Omega 300. After that first 25 rounds, the keyholing stopped, and it's been fine since. Either keyholing because of a barrel defect, extreme bullet instability, or walk off are the only things I can think of...but still, any of those issues would have to be really extreme to get a strike shooting a 9mm through a .45 can. But anyway, I'm glad they got it taken care of for you.
Yea, not sure either. The ammo was my hand loads but they fired and grouped fine with no keyholes without the can. I emailed back to SICO to see what the issue could have been just for future reference and they just gave me a generic “could have been a number of issues and we really couldn’t determine” response. I’m still puzzled myself. I wondered if it was the Neilson Device…?? Anyway, since there was no clear cut reason given, I’m still paranoid about running it on my 9mm now. 😂
@kentuckyrangetime ... Yeah, that will definitely raise the paranoia level. I've got a Hybrid 46M as well, so I'll be keeping an eye on mine for sure. I would think that if it was the Neilson device, you probably would have noticed some major slop in it, like if the O-ring had come out of the housing. I've only had one end cap strike on one of my Obsidian 45's, and that was because of very slight walk off on a Fusion barrel with one of my .45 1911's. I've got about 30 different 1911 hosts, and several of them have Fusion barrels, but only one of those seem to be an issue. It must be the tolerance of the threads on that one barrel, because as soon as the piston breaks loose from the shoulder of the barrel, it has enough slop to droop low enough in the front to cause an impact on the end cap. None of the other Fusion barrels, or any other brand barrels I have will do that...they all have to walk off a full turn to start to droop like that. The only other thing that I can think of that would have caused your issue is maybe if you were using frangible ammo, and it started to come apart as soon as it left the barrel. Whatever the case, hopefully it was a freak thing, and it'll never happen again.
@@jujuscustomshop that’s what I’m hoping too. Lol
Matt, What size cleaner do you have? Also you asked for comments in the precedding video and the comments are turned off. Another good video sir.
Thanks Bob, I’ll check the comments section. Lol.
Good info Matt, thanks.
Common problem with the .357 Rossi.
I just received mine in today and played with it a little bit. I noticed when you swung the legs down how easy it was, but on mine they are very stiff. Would you recommend some type of lubrication at the top leg swivel points or will they eventually loosen up with use?
Of the 3 I’ve had one was definitely stiffer when new. It’s still tight but is loosening up a bit.
That’s wild. Some info out there is so wrong. I’ve seen lil gun placed faster than h110 before and it’s clearly not even close
Thanks for taking the time to put this tutorial. Instructions are clear and concise. Semper fi!
Great tutorial... Semper fi!
How much did it cost for the warranty work?
No direct charges for Silencerco, but I had almost $50 in shipping, with signature confirmation and insurance.
I’m curious how they stack up against 110’s for defensive use
I’ll be doing a couple of 110gr loads coming up. I have Barnes TAC-TX and Nosler Varmageddon to try. I still need to push these 85gr up to the mid 2400fps too. 😉
@@kentuckyrangetime this is exactly the data I’m personally looking for, thanks for all the hard work.
Lot of smoke lol. Good performance, I was kinda expecting higher velocity from the 85gr bullets.
That’s my first loading on those. It’s an all copper bullet and not a lot of data on them so I started with a reasonable charge. That was my 125gr jacketed bullet charge. I’ll be pushing them on up a bit when I get time. 😉
@@kentuckyrangetime I bet they can get to scooting before any pressure signs. I had the Barnes 110gr all copper over 2500 with lil gun.
Great job! Really enjoying the content sir! Keep up the good work!
would love to see how these expand on gel @ 100 yards

I’m glad you used that garmin in this, the wonder of if it would pick up for my gel tests is what kept me from buying one so far. Hate it when the block hits the ground lol. Everything sticks to it lol Great performance from those bullets though and good video!
I didn’t get results with the .44 but got 3 of 3 on the .300blk video (posting as soon as YT finishes their review). I think I was to far left of the Garmin on the .44 shots.
@@kentuckyrangetime I wondered how the movement of the block would affect it too.
