Garmin chrono testing .44mag loads with Hornady 265gr FTX Bullets and Lil-Gun Powder.

Load data for this bullet in .44 mag chamberings is practically non-existent. Hornady normally recommends shortening the brass cases for most of their loads running the FTX bullets to accommodate the extended lengths of the polymer tips without going over the case overall length. I don't want to trim my Starline brass so I'm doing some test loads to make sure they'll run. Also, my starting load data for the Lil-gun came from Hodgdon's RDC for a 300gr bullet.
These loads are longer than book max, but still fit in my Ruger Super Redhawk and in my single shots breakdown. They can also be single fed into the Rossi R92 Lever-gun if needed.
