how is it as compared to thump 212 and 215 in terms of loudness and bass?

Just keep your setup simple, dress the lighting stands maybe the speaker stands and no facade. Take a look at my setups. I am in and out in 30 minutes.

I don't like huge booths or facades, it's way too much. I rather be in the corner with an X-stand, I care more about the music and the sound. It looks good but in the end of the day, what matters to the customers is the comfortable and clear sound, the music and the ambiance you bring. Good job over all.

This will become your "everything" speakers, like at the beach, camping, traveling and more! I use it for actual wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and monitor. Says 12 hours but more like 6 to 8 depending on how loud you use them. Still, the best bang for your buck. Meant more for PA and background music than for dancing but you can still use them for a crowd of up to 50 at a backyard party paired with a subwoofer.

I have a very similar facade from Rockville that I really like and a custom furniture booth for weddings or anything more upscale. I like both but the custom booth is definitely a lot quicker setup since everything is pre wired

Dude I love the no food or drinks signs on the speakers. People have a tendency of using the speakers as their personal table. I’ll have to apply that’s sign on mine, great idea!

Contracts all the time no matter who it is. I require half deposit to secure the date at signing. Balance in full is due 3 weeks before the event. Been doin it that way for 20yrs

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. I’m still in the slightly trusting mode where I haven’t been firm in getting paid first. I’m ok with getting paid afterwards in hopes that if I did good, the customer would add a tip. All it will take is for me to get burned one time and that way of thinking will go out the window.

Nice work brother. It’s a shame sometimes, clients don’t think that we as DJs have a living to earn. They think we just do it to pass time. I’ve actually got a current situation regarding a client who owes me around $12k still and I’m taking them to court. I’ll be doing a video on this very subject soon! Keep it pushing bro!

Business is business. Got to get that full payout before you get to the venue. It takes away the anxiety of whether you get paid or not. A CRM (Check Cherry, Honey Book, etc.) will do all the work for you and send reminders to the client when payment is due.

Yep back in highschool when I would DJ had something similar happen, the customer didn't want to pay me because no one showed up to his party literally like 5 people showed up. He was upset but I told him I did the job I was here. He wanted to pay next day because he had no changeI told him no I need the $ now, so he ended up giving me an extra $50 and packed up almost 2 hours early!! Keep up the good work!

I always appreciate how you talk about the things we have to deal with like clients asking for a projector to play a video last minute like we can just make it appear, or getting paid! It’s definitely something I’ve dealt with before, and have had to improvise something the way you did.

Hey what's up bro something like this you should ask for the money upfront first and once you get the money upfront then you set up if they don't have the money upfront don't set up until they pay you. I have to learn the hard way.

In my opinion, a larger system would have really been a plus for this event. 2 EV ELX118p’s + 2 ZLX15P and a ZLX12P as monitor. This would be a perfect setup with breaking the bank type investment. Looking forward to more GigLogs. Keep spinning🦾

Like i say play lite and little by little pick it up bro but reading the crowd is very important but you can't satisfy everyone so i know i been through that and it's not easy but by listening to the crowd speaks you csn have a better idea what to play.
