    Kev, that is a great DJ set up. You don’t need furniture. Most people don’t care about that. You look professional that’s all people care about. All those other things are EGO. Love what you got, don’t fall into peer pressure. You will still make the money… talk to later Brother

    I have the smaller booth that I've been using for a few years now and I love it. Easy and quick to set up and best of all its affordable. I've been looking to upgrade to DJ furniture for my set up because I've been doing a lot more formal events, but I'm always surprised at how many compliments I get from my current set up. I keep everything clean, tight, and tidy and people really like the look of the RCF J8's as well. Keep rocking it!

      Thanks bro !! The furniture definitely seems to be a trend & almost a norm for wedding djs but keeping the setup clean & tidy like you mentioned will always guarantee a more professional look regardless 🙌🏽

    Dj furniture should be last priority. Just make sure your set up is neat and clean. Have a budget and be efficient to make as much profit as possible.

    I’ve been using this booth for almost three years. I don’t use the top shelf because I use the road case with the laptop stand for my controller. Still suits me just fine and, honestly, most of my clients choose this booth because it’s in the cheaper package options.

    • @koproductions8266

    I have a very similar facade from Rockville that I really like and a custom furniture booth for weddings or anything more upscale. I like both but the custom booth is definitely a lot quicker setup since everything is pre wired

    • @koproductions8266
      @koproductions8266  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nice bro ! Since I don’t do as many weddings, I sort of do the opposite as this booth is now my fancy booth and my foldable facade is what I use for smaller more laid back events but if it ever comes to a time where i find myself doing more weddings I’d definitely love to have Dj furniture & rig it up so everything is pre-wired, especially since it’s almost turning into an expectation for wedding DJ’s lol

    Excellent Video ❤, how are the RCF Evox J8s holding up? I own one evolve 50, but I think I like the convenience of the RCFs. I see you play the same style music as me.

      Correct but as you grow as a company some may want to have a cleaner setup to justify an increase in pricing or just one that they can be more proud of

    I'm using Bunn Gear for quick assembly and a rack full of gear. Sets up in 10-15 minutes with everything put together and connected. Very pricey though. I like the style of your booth.

    Of course booth's are still exceptable. All these dj furniture people acting like they are up and above everyone else is bull shit. Ego is a hell of a drug. The client could care less about the shit. But some DJ's will make excuses that they do. SMH 😒

    It’s funny how things come full circle. I began Djaying in the late 70s and early 80’s with “wax”. Tables were all most mobile guys had and throughout the years we went to tabletop boxes and then facades and booths. DJ furniture is a fancy way of spinning on a table. Lol. Looks way better than jus a case on a table in my opinion but, for me, it’s not cost effective or worth the extra set up load in time.
    Trust me, in a few years, someone will be asking if DJ furniture is out of style in 2030 lol. Do what works for your clients not someone else’s.
    I like the set up especially the lighting rig over the booth.
    Enjoy my man

    I have never considered doing this before and I really want to see what it looks like. Is there a follow up video with your gear on it at that height? It feels like it may be perfect for maybe a 7 foot dude. But a bit tall for normal people. :)

    • @koproductions8266
      @koproductions8266  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea in my last gig log I set it up with the controller on top, it was too tall for me but I’m also 5 foot 5, probably if you’re 5 foot 9 it’s more ideal but I still used it with the controller on top & just stood on top of my flight case & made it work lol

    • @koproductions8266
      @koproductions8266  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question, and kind of hard to explain but I clip the smaller shelf before folding the cage then on the last fold I clip half of the bigger shelf then completely close the cage and clip the other half of the bigger shelf and it all consolidates
