- What's up guys?! I did an unboxing and quick review of the ADJ MyDMXGo to find out if it is still worth it in 2023. It came out in 2019 and still seems to offer the same value as it did then, check out the video to see if it ended up working out for me!

Nice video , I used this lighting software since I started out and still use it till this day. It has never failed me and really easy to use compared to other dmx softwares I have used. Uplighting range works just depends on ur dmx receivers.
That’s good to know ! Glad to see it’s a reliable software & while I was editing I was like this antenna doesn’t really have anything to do with the dmx 🤦🏻♂️ lol but thanks for the clarification bro !
I been using adj DMX2.1 for a few years no issues and started using myDMXgo about a year ago
It can be a little tricky to get it going but so far all good
Yea it was a little confusing at first but once I set everything up it was a simple plug in & play for me at my last event 👍🏽
I know DJ Barr used this for several years and he always raved good things about it. Not sure what he uses now because he RARELY posts videos now. I use Soundswitch but it's not for everybody lol. It's amazing however I think the MYDMXGO should fit your needs perfectly. Only time will tell.
When I worked with him a couple months ago I saw he’s been using a production grade adj dmx bridge like 10x the size of the dmxgo for his setup to prevent dropouts lol but yea I know the Soundswitch took over the dj world for a good amount of time last year, seems like it does the job but thank you for the reassurance bro ! 🙌🏽

We are using it as a place holder until we can get lightkey at our church, works like a charm

If you need any tips let me know. I’ve been using it for 2 years now and I know all the tricks for connectivity issues and things like that. People that say this isn’t reliable is because they never bothered to learn it.

Just upgrade the antenna on both the donner and the unit. Then you're golden. Especially for larger venues.

Hi, I just bought 7r 230w light beam, it's not working with mixer 192, what's is the problem and ADJ is it more compatible with these 230w beams
Hey bro not too sure, I’m not too familiar with that light but I have seen some reviews that the dmxgo has some trouble pairing with certain brands of lighting

@@koproductions8266 I ended up hard wiring this with an Amazon fire hd plus, with the wireless charger and a usbc to usbc cable and now works pretty good

@djn8764 if you connect a USB c to USB cable cable and you connect one side on the dmx go and the other on the tablet, will the wifi connect straight into the tablet without having to connect the WiFi?

We bought two of these systems for our company and they have never been reliable. You never see anyone using this anymore either, nor does ADJ even promote it anymore.
Yea if I did weddings often I would’ve invested into a higher quality lighting system but it was a great value for the types of smaller events that I do, just used it at a sweet 16 & luckily worked well 🙌🏽

You’ll be shoving it into a corner somewhere. It took me less than a month to realize MyDMXgo is absolute garbage. Splurge a little and grab the ADJ WMX1. You can thank me later.
I don’t do that many private events, I’ve been at bars lately so I didn’t feel like I needed a heavier duty controller but time will tell ! We’ll see what happens
