Sweet!! That is how I started with my solar journey. A little system, that grew, and grew, and grew, and parts were replaced. Now I’ve got 5 solar systems. One big one, one medium sized one, and 3 small ones. Because 2 is 1 and 1 is none. That little setup will DEFINITELY work!! Just remember to turn the power inverter off anytime the range is not being used to conserve battery life.
Beautiful choice of artwork to hang above the mantle!
💪
Rv cook tops are where you should look. Second hand and older ones made of American steel 😊
My Coleman knock off uses tank or bottle. I bought a hose and coupler and love it
I am 71 and I would do this in a heartbeat.
Just go and chop the bloody wood brother! If you spent as much time trying not to cut firewood, you would have been done already by now. It's good to have a backup in place. But if you get your firewood right you will not need a backup.
Nag, nag,nag 🤪. But you’re right. I have 2.5 cords cut. Halfway there!
You maybe better off looking for a battery ignition system like a "Unique Propane Range" or an outdoor set up like "Blackstone grill" There are some propane stoves for sailboats. At any rate a small battery generator with a small solar cell to top it off may work. I can not see a solenoid taking that much to open up.
Do you have any cordless electric tools? A lot of times, you can find that those same cordless tool manufacturers also make power inverters that run off of the same tool batteries. I know it’s not a permanent solution, but it can get you by for a few months until a more permanent solution can be found. That is, if you have a generator you can occasionally fire up to recharge the batteries.
Quick and Dirty 120v
Two colemans
I am of grid and use a propane colman stove. It's a 2 burner propane fold up camp stove that's about 10lbs. Any good outdoor store should carry a similar item. It's probably less than $150 and it can be manually lit with matches or a lighter.
I have used those before - my significant other loves to cook - so wants something more robust and with big burners.
You're a man. Just plug it into man power
Maybe you can take it apart and give it power once to get the solenoids to open, or reverse the circuit so it defaults to open then just tac them or stick them open permanently, or remove them entirely, and control the gas flow at the canister....
It’s a sealed unit. Have to pry it open. But yeah - just bypass it seams the way to go. I took some of my puzzle pieces and made it work for now. Have to think how involved I want to get with it….
@Cabin_Dad you may even be able to just use a powerful magnet to actuate it if its a cheaper model. Then again, depends how far you want to go
@ I like the idea of getting it to stick open. I’ll use my temporary method until I have time to pop her open. Really like the magnet idea - as long as the valve is not aluminum…
@Cabin_Dad yeah thats a good point. Good luck
Your a busy guy lol
We keep a full schedule! It’s actually pretty cool how active you can be when you’re happy doing the things you like to do.
@ yeah then it’s not work it’s just fun tasks.
Rad truck! Find any USA or USMC markings on it??
I did! USMC used it in Bosnia in the 80s as far as I can tell.
@ no way, that’s rad!!!
Nice job!!!
👊
It looked good. Didn’t think the hub would have failed like that!
Did he propose with a tree ring?
Welp,at least it wasnt April 1st 2022... lol 😆
Oh man. That would have been epic. I remember running through his plans back then and it never crossed our minds!
That was good!
Of course trees have internet. Thats where they log on.
Ba dum tss
Glad to see you "branching" out with your content
He’s back!
@Cabin_Dad sorry. Long trip
Cant they just leaf each other messages
When the leaf gets sent back for barking up the wrong tree.
@Cabin_Dad well maybe that is the root of the problem...
Thought i heard something through the woodwork
So my uncle was a tree?
You will always have the puzzle pieces you buy. You just might not end up with the picture thats on the box....
You are a wise man
@Cabin_Dad I have the brain of a genius. Would be great if I could get it out of the jar though
BURN IT😂
Before all that effort I hope you made sure to have concrete evidence that this is where they came in. You know, before the plan was set in stone and all
Theres something pleasantly ironic about using a divorced unit to marry to parts together
Don't let any sodium deposits get on those Acid units. Otherwise it will be a-Salt and battery
I knew you could get it done. Of course. You know the drill
Idk. When I go to cracker barrel I can definitely pick out at least 3 or 4 individual cows sitting in front of me.
In drier climates, I don't know, but in wetter climes in the east, if you clear an area of forest, also removing the debris, thousands, if not millions, of flowers take over that opening for a few years. Then by five to seven years, you have head high trees back again.
❤️
You all ways have great info. thanks for sharing
Appreciate it.
Intelligently designed ❤
Not even close. What created your God, then? Were they intelligently designed? Fuck no. Stop being a stupid Christian.

How did you come to be better informed and more knowledgeable about forest management than university trained professional foresters? The ones working in my area don't always replant after harvest but sometimes they do.
Live your videos I learn so much! Thank you for this one . I pray one day to live remotely again like I did when I was young. Abundance of respect blessings and prayers.
