actually, the time loop has already started, but your statue only activates when the probe finds the coordinates, that means that at this point, the probe already found the eye
My mind is blown that this is possible. I feel like there’s so much more to explore here after dozing off for extended periods of time…

Was the sun station still there? What would it say in the Nomai computers for how long until the sun station was consumed by the sun? May have to test this myself

NOMAI HATE THIS ONE SIMPLE TRICK! (NUMBER 5 WILL SURPRISE YOU)
The loops have been functioning for millions of loops, the only reason they're active now is because the eye has been found on this loop. So the project and the statues were activated and our memories were returned because we were close to a statue at the moment of information recall. So of course we can do anything we want without being aware that there ever has been a time loop in the first place, including entering the eye😊
have you tried searching on the quantum moon ?

Can anyone explain what was the goal of this video and what actually happened? I didn't understand a thing. Were there 2 scouts after they shot one in the black hole? And why destroying one would make anything happen?
If you shoot your scout through ATM, it will appear in the next loop as a duplicate. Normally, upon shooting a scout in next loop, you can't recall it back, since there are two of them, so scout launcher doesn't know what to do and does nothing. However, scout, by itself, has automatic recall system, which will force recall him back to the launcher, if scout is in danger (being engulfed in lava). Destroying the non-duplicate scout in the next loop will cause a destruction of space-time, because you have no scout to shoot through ATM and therefore, no way for you to have a duplicate in this loop, but you have it, so here goes game over.

He sends a scout back in time, so there are two scouts in the next loop. (The second scout is not visible due to a bug, I think.) If he does not send the scout back again in the next loop, it is a paradox and the spacetime will break. He is testing if it is enough to destroy one of the scouts before the loop ends, instead of sending it back in time again. But he fails to destroy the scout.

I think you got confused between the ATP and high energy lab in the title
Nah, what I was trying to see is what happens when you duplicate scout in ATP and in next loop while having that duplicated scout, duplicate it in High Energy Lab, hope that makes sense :D
You should try this, but only breaking spacetime at the very end of the loop, right before the supernova hits you, that way you get two overalying you broke spacetime endings
The lab will be filled with sand at the end of the loop ::(

Might have already been asked or answered but what about disabling the ATP before pairing? I'm guessing the sand doesn't start draining before so you would have to cheat an no clip to it
I appreciate that people are willing to put together mods to this amazing game. But this one, along with The Vision, really just miss the mark for me entirely. They don't feel like Outer Wilds. The other 2 mods I've tried so far (Outsider and Fret's Quest) are much more in line with base game. Here's hoping the rest I try fare better.
Funny cause I thought Frets Quest was goofy. I liked the way it lead you to the new solar system instead of just plonking you right into space. But the magic banjo stuff was goofy, having to find lyrics for some other character (wasn't exactly Frets Quest was it?) then it just ending after a conversation? Maybe I missed something but it was very anticlimactic. Also the floating Banjos were so goofy, especially when they put a giant one in space and especially when it didnt have a hitbox and I just flew straight through it! I wanted to explore the dang banjo! Also none of the new planets had anything worth exploring, they were just blank spheres with texture and a house or two (if you're lucky, one is just nomai and anglerfish skeletons) Just didn't feel like it did anything at all tbh. My favourite mod so far has definitely been The Outsider. It almost just feels like a DLC. It incorporates knowledge from the base game, it gives similar "aha" moments, it gave Bramble some lore and a surface with buildings and things to explore and it was honestly done really well. Lorewise - don't know how I feel about a Nomai and a Stranger Inhabitant meeting, I didn't mind in the context of a fan mod. I also thought Astral Codec was quite interesting in how it used the current solar system and adds a cheeky thing hidden in plain sight and tries to explain an unexplained thing in the main game. I personally didn't care for the whole "cracking the code" part and it did feel a little obtuse in the information you're given and how you're supposed to use it, but I got there eventually. Does a lot of cool stuff that was a part of the base game but never utilised outside of a Easter egg type thing.

But the statue isnt bound to the activation of the time loop, its there anyways, you just dont realise you're living it because you didnt connect to the statue
you're correct lorewise but in game the statue is what activates the mechanical timeloop and all the planetary simulations i.e. the ember twin sandfall, the expansion of the sun. So no statue = no timed events
@@georgeok4582 there isn't any evidence that the twins activate for that reason, the devs probably done this to make interesting things happen for the players. Expansion of the sun is explained by it dying, it's burning the last oxygen it has before collapsing in itself. Also it says that there was 9million+ time loops before you start yours in the tracking room of the eye of the universe

So, technically, if you never pair with the mask, and you're good enough not to die, could you 100% the game, besides any datapoints that _require_ death (such as getting in to the prisoner's cell)?
Yes because the coordinates being found is what initiated the masks in the first place. The loop has been running for a long while without anyone's input as the naomi intended
Wow, I know they wanted the ATP to tank the hit for a few seconds, but that thing is just _actually_ tanking a supernova.
I think it collapsed on me one time, I took out the core and then it couldn’t hold off the supernova
What does the timer show on the island where the orbital probe cannon was built on the Giant's Deep?
Just imagine the hearthians know about the stranger before the sun reached the end and this was thev main characters first tripb when he received his launch codes but no statue caught him.
That was some impressive use of the scout to add loft to your jumps!
Everyone: "Oh this game does such a perfect job of replicating gravitational physics!" Game: You're floating in a 0G space (mass from surrounding planet roughly evenly distributed around you in all directions). Forms a kugelblitz with a Schwarzschild radius of several meters only a few meters distant from you. You feel zero gravitational pull from the beast. 🤦♂

I've always wanted to find out if somehow getting to the ship and chasing after the probe as soon as you begin the game will lead you to the eye of the universe since that's supposed to be the probe that found it

If you launch the scout through the eye of the univers at the end of the game it will not return back.
The 3rd mask being active means a 3rd person walked though the museum, and activated the statue

Technically every time you go into the ATP without deactivating it you would break the fabric of space time considering there is air inside, and by existing within the space you would disrupt the gasses and cause different atoms to get sent back in time.
should be fine as long as an equal amount get sent back
I think only datas are sent in the black hole, it's not the whole room that travels back in time
What if you doze of for like 1 full day, will the orbits eventually be messed up as they are when you go too far from the solar system?
they probably shouldn't cause there wouldn't be floating point error like you have when you're very far but... maybe?
@@Laezar1It definitely should, as physics are simulated in real time, plus with dozing off speeding up physics by 10x you'll force the physics to work around 700 longer than they were meant to, which gives more than enough time to stack little errors on top of little errors until big errors are all over the universe. The loop exists to prevent the physics of the game from collapsing over time
@@marcohueber5130 As far as I'm aware there aren't that many errors as long as you stay within the bounds of the solar system because what creates error when you're far away is the fact the game fails at calculating decimals which isn't needed when you're closer. I might be wrong though, or it might end up unstable over very long period of times as you suggest but I would bet (with somewhat low confidence) on it being more stable than you'd expect.
@@Laezar1 Errors can never be completely erased as long as you are the "center" of the universe. The planet you are on should be relatively safe from deviations, but let's say the Hourglass Twins may deviate 1 meter after 20 minutes. 24 hours of sleep equals to about 14.4 K minutes of physics working, meaning the twins might deviate over 700 meters after 1 day of sleep. They may easily collide with each others, or one of them might fall into the Sun. The Interloper would definitely collide with a planet by that point, if it wasn't forcefully despawned at the 2nd orbit.
Ah, I love that someone modded in a story about Dark Bramble! Perhaps it's best that forever remained a mystery, according to the main devs, but I really enjoy seeing someone do a take on what they think was the lore, and in a playable form!
It could be interresting to see the number of the probe at this moment...

But what if you manage to die during the time that the three probes are present ? Does the ATP probe paradox override the High Energy Lab one ?
I remember when I flew out of the solar system and far away, checking my map, I saw saw the interloper leaving the solar system as well. I think that’s where it went.
Hmm. I know the timer doesn't start while you're doing tutorial bits on timber hearth. Is pairing with the mask the trigger? Or getting the codes? Or is it entering the ship? If it's entering the ship, could you loop skip with a shipless route, grabbing the suit from zero g cave?
